RACE 1: BOTTLEMART MALANDA MAIDEN PLATE – 1100M
 
KISEKI – Slow to begin.
 
GREEK ROSE – Began awkwardly and was then tightened for room and lost ground.
 
ROTHESAY MAGIC – Shifted out at the start tightening another runner. Bumped by another runner approaching the 100m and became unbalanced.
 
FIRED UP FLYNN – Improved onto heels approaching the 100m having to steadied and then had difficulties obtaining clear running and shifted out bumping another runner.
 
SAINTLY ROYALE – Delayed the start when difficult to load. Slow to begin. Improved onto heels near the 400m and was steadied. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Raced greenly throughout the event. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
TALK ABOUT SAGA – Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority of the race.
 
 
 
 
 
RACE 2: 1911 RESTAURANT BENCHMARK 65 H’CAP – 1000M
 
GUNDY STAR – Blundered on jumping.
 
ROAD FOX – Slow to begin.
 
METOZOA – Slow to begin. Laid out when placed under pressure in the home straight proving difficult to ride.
 
RACE 3: TOM ENGLISH MEMORIAL CLASS B H’CAP – 1000M
 
ALASKAN GOLD – Fractious in the barriers, broke through the front of the barriers prior to the start before being quickly restrained, was examined by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to start. Hung in near the 100m and was steadied before being corrected.
 
CENTREHALF FORWARD – Slow into stride.
 
NOVA CHINA – Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
BOOK A FLIGHT – Jumped inwards at the start tightening runners to its inside. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
CANON KING – Jumped outwards at the start tightening runners to its outside. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
DROPYOURBUNDALL – Tightened for room at the start and lost ground.
 
CHEERS FOR AUSBRED – Tightened for room at the start and lost ground.
 
MONASHEE LASS – Trainer J. Williams reported to Stewards following the event that the mare had a laceration to its off hind coronet.
 
RACE 4: SPAR MALANDA BENCHMARCK 55 H’CAP – 1200M

BIG TOMEE – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
RACE 5: MALANDA HOTEL BENCHMARK 45 H'CAP – 1400M
 
AMBITIOUS DREAM – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start.
 
SLINKY TYCOON – Slow to begin. Raced wide in the early stages of the race.
 
REGAL ROTH – Slow to begin. Had tendency to hang out throughout the race.
 
NEAR TRHE CITY – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
CASH UP BULLY – Shied and dislodged rider J. Lambie on pulling up giving him a seemingly harmless fall.
