Race 1. BRETT SEAWRIGHT PLUMBING MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
 
TRUSTABLE – Slowly into stride after beginning awkwardly.
 
NORTHERN GREAT – Shifted out abruptly on jumping. Raced wide for the majority.
 
SHE’S A SINNER – Steadied when placed in restricted room by a runner which improved to its outside passing the 400m.
 
YOUCUDAHAD DIS – Tired noticeably in the home straight, shifting ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have a slow post-race recovery rate.
 
 
Race 2.  BJS PLUMBING & CIVIL CONTRACTING QTIS BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1200m
 
POETIC ATTACKS – Slowly away after beginning awkwardly. Switched in around heels near the 250m. 
 
SWEET JUNE – App E. Cass whose arrival at the race meeting was significantly delayed due to circumstances beyond her control was replaced by Jockey N Yadi as the rider of the mare. Raced wide for the majority. Shifted in marginally near the 250m crowding a runner to its inside. Jockey Yadi was advised to exercise more care under similar circumstances.
 
OUR RECIPE – Raced wide for the majority. Inconvenienced near the 250m when a crowded by another runner which shifted in marginally. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
 
 
Race 3. THE PETER BUNYAN RACE CLASS 4 PLATE 1000m
 
COOL ATTITUDE – Jockey J Felix who replaced App E. Cass as the rider of the mare was permitted to ride COOL ATTITUDE 0.5kg over its allotted weight.
 
AT DUSK – Fractious in the barrier. Slowly away after beginning awkwardly.
 
MISS CELITA – Inclined to hang out in the middle stages.
 
 
Race 4. FLYNN CIVIL CLASS B HANDICAP 1000m
 
TATACHILLA  –  App S. Gittos who was unable to fulfil his engagement due to personal reasons was replaced by App K. Swaffer as  the rider of the mare. Slowly away.
 
TAVEUNI – Slowly away.
 
MAC ME MATE – Buffeted between runners soon after the start. Raced ungenerously for short distance passing the 800m when the pace slackened.
 
ARITOMO – Raced wide for the majority.
 
SUPPOSEDLY WICKED – Raced greenly in the home straight.
 
Race 5. THE KAIRI HOTEL CLASS B HANDICAP 1400m
 
FLASH FOX – Shifted out abruptly on jumping, hampering runners to its outside.
 
DANCE AROUND – Slowly away after being severely tightened between runners on jumping.
 
GOODBYE EARL – Hampered on jumping when a runner drawn inside shifted out abruptly as the start was effected.
