GENERAL:
 
As apprentice R. Shred was not riding at todays meeting due to illness, riding replacements were made as per steward’s summary.   
 
Race 1: GOODLINE CLASS B H’CAP – 1000 Metres
 
TATACHILLA – Declared a late scratching at 11.50am by order of stewards acting on veterinary advice after it became fractious during in transit the racecourse. Trainer D. Amos was advised a veterinary certificate of soundness would be required prior to the mare being permitted to race again.
 
CUPID’S SON – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
ABBY’S DRAGON – Slow to begin.   
 
Race 2: TROPICAL PASTURE SEEDS OPEN H’CAP – 1100 Metres
 
BOLD ENDEVOUR – As apprentice rider S. Gittos had not arrived on course in due time for this event, stewards allowed senior rider N. Yadi to replace apprentice R. Shred as the rider. Began very awkwardly and lost ground. Raced wide in the early stages.   
 
DREAM I CAN – Over-raced in the early stages and was awkwardly place between runners near the 800 metres having to be restrained.

EXCEEDINGLY KOOL – Raced wide in the early stages.
 
Race 3: TABLELAND AIR SERVICE QTIS MAIDEN PLATE- - 1400 Metres
 
AGE OF DAWN – Slow to begin.
 
PRINCESS GLEE – Over-raced in the early stages and threw its head in the air for a short distance when being restrained near the 1200 metres. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.  
 
Race 4: ALICE STREET DENTAL BENCHMARK 45 H’CAP – 1400 Metres  
 
ROSE CLIP – Shifted out marginally under pressure near the 100 metres bumping with    INTEROGATION.
 
INTEROGATION – Shifted in marginally under pressure near 100 metres bumping with ROSE CLIP.
 
Race 5: MAGIC MILLIONS/ROB KOCH MEMORIAL/FNQ UP & COMING STAYERS BENCHMARK 65 H’CAP – 2000 Metres
 
KINGSBRIDGE – Connections advised instructions would be issued for the gelding to be ridden off the speed should circumstances permit. This was broadcast via the oncourse broadcaster. Ridden accordingly. Raced three wide without cover for the majority of the race.
 
GALAXY GHOST – Over-raced in the early and middle stages throwing its head in the air for some distance.
 
HOT TOP – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
