Brady Race 1: COTTAGE CAFÉ MAIDEN PLATE – 1000 Metres MYZAH – The start was delayed when jockey S. Sheargold was kicked in the lower left leg behind the barriers, after being examined by the QAS officers he was cleared to fulfil his engagement. Slow to begin. Raced wide for majority of the race. PALENTIA SPICE – Slow to begin. MAHISARA LADY – Slow to begin. Shifted wider in the middle stages. REDENZO ROMAN – Slow to begin. WHAT A PEARL – Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race. FINE IMPACT – Raced greenly in the early stages. DREAM LUV – Jockey M. Abe dropped his whip near the 80 metres. Jockey S. Sheargold was again examined by the QAS officers following the running of this race and he was cleared to fulfil his remaining engagements. Race 2: TOLGA HOTEL CLASS B HANDICAP – 1000 Metres KOHEETO – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. Slow to begin. Shifted wider leaving the 800 metres. SHE'S A SINNER – Slow to begin. MILLAA MISS – Shifted out at the start bumping FIGURED. Shifted wider leaving the 800 metres. Raced greenly for the majority of the race. FIGURED – Bumped on jumping. Race 3: CENTRAL TYRE SERVICE OPEN HANDICAP – 1200 Metres OUR CHIQUILLA – Jockey M. Abe was permitted to ride the gelding 1.5kg over its allotted weight at the request of its trainer S. Cooper when no other suitable rider was available. This was broadcast via public address. M. Abe was fined the sum of $300 under the provisions of AR190(3). VALIDAR – Slow to begin. MACIPENKO (GB) – Slow to begin. Raced wide in the early stages. SILENT EXPLORER – Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race. Race 4: SAVANNAH CAMPERS & TRAILERS QTIS RATINGS BAND 0 – 60 HANDICAP – 1400 Metres AMELIA'S RAINBOW – Began awkwardly. Laid out near the 700 metres forcing ARISE MY SON out which became awkward on the heels of EAGLE EYE STAR. ARISE MY SON – Forced wider near the 700 metres and checked from the heels of EAGLE EYE STAR. Race 5: COSTA WELL GROWN BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP – 1400 Metres HERVOR – Crowded for room when attempting a narrow run to the inside of LIGHTEMUP JERRY near the 1100 metres. ALWAYS SACRED (NZ) – Shifted wider leaving the 700 metres. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. ENUFF ROSES – Shifted wider leaving the 700 metres. LAUDEYLOU – Laid out under pressure in the home straight. Race 6: BARRON VALLEY, LIQUOR LEGENDS & XXXX COUNTRY CUPS CHALLENGE QUAL/ATHERTON CUP OPEN HANDICAP – 2000 Metres FAST TRAIN – Restrained at the start and threw its head in the air. DON ARCANGELO – Slow to begin. LOVE ON SUNDAY – Tendency to over-race in the early stages. NEW KING (GB) – Tendency to over-race in the early stages.
