RACE 1: BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1000M-
 
MISS DELIMA- Began awkwardly losing ground.
 
FRED- Raced wide throughout. Forced to steady away from heels for some distance over the final 50m when BIG BRITCHES shifted out when not completely clear. J Rudd the rider of BIG BRITCHES was reprimanded as a result of this incident.
 
BIG BRITCHES- Raced wide throughout.
 
RACE 2: CLASS B HANDICAP 1200M-
 
As D Rewald was overweight he was replaced as the rider of TRAIL BUSTER by B Richardson. In issuing a reprimand against Jockey Rewald, Stewards were mindful of Jockey Rewald’s prior good record in relation to this rule.
 
AVOID THE MISSUS- Fractious in the enclosure and was reluctant to enter the track. Trainer T Austin was advised that a warning will be issued against the horses pre-race behaviour.  Hampered at the start losing ground.
 
BLINKIN HEAVENLY- Raced wide throughout.
 
TRAIL BUSTER- Slow to begin. Hung in for the majority of the event.
 
RACE 3: QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1300M-
 
SIDEREUS SMILE- After being loaded broke through the barriers and galloped a short distance before be captured. Upon return to the barriers was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to start.
 
GOLDEN BEAVER- Hung in throughout and finished tailed off. A post-race Veterinary Inspection failed to reveal and abnormalities. Trainer C Rogers advised that in light of today’s performance she will now drop the horse back in distance and following that run the connections would then consider the horses racing future.
 
MOHAKA RIVER- Laid in when placed under pressure in the straight.
 
RACE 4: RATINGS BAND 0-60 HANDICAP 1300M
 
WONDERFUL WALLY- Lost both hind plates in running.
 
GRAVITY FORCE – Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.
 
LASSZOU- Raced wide throughout.
 
HANDS UP- Raced wide throughout.
 
RACE 5: MEATANT CUP OPEN  HANDICAP 1300M
 
REPO ZEST- Began awkwardly and lost some ground at the start.
 
REBEL ICON- Raced wide throughout.
 
SAN VINCENZO- Jumped in the air at the start.
 
LOUPPY BEND- Blundered on jumping away.
