Race 1 Super QRIS Maiden Handicap – 1200 Metres 9 Starters
CANADIAN LYNX (O Galea) dipped on entering the straight. O Galea put the blunder down to a damp patch at that point. PAPAL REASON ( T Matsuno) ran about in the straight when Apprentice T Matsuno dropped a rein when attempting to go for the whip. T Matsuno was shown the video and advised to make sure he had the right hold when attempting to use the whip.

Race 2 Super QRIS Class 2 Handicap – 1000 Metres 9 Starters.
GOODBYE CHIEF (T Matsuno) raced wide throughout.

Race 3 Craiglea Stud Series Handicap – 1000 Metres 4 Starters
ROYAL CHANDON (NZ) (O Galea) lost ground sharply at about the 900m. O Galea stated that although his horse had begun well he could not match the early pace.

Race 4 Seaby Cup – 1600 Metres 4 Starters
Jockey O Galea fined $100 for flourishing his whip prior to the line on ROYAL CHANDON (NZ). AR137 ( c )

Race 5 Class 5 Handicap – 1300 Metres 5 Starters
