Race 1: SHAKESPEARE HOTEL BM 55 HANDICAP - 1100 metres
 
SUNFAST was a late scratching at 8:00am due to no rider available.
 
BUSH BELLA, SPOTTED EAGLE and LOCA DA VIDA were all late scratchings at 12:30pm as there were no available jockeys.
 
HIDDEN CHIEF – Over raced in the early stages and was eased off heels at the 900m.
 
YUM SING – Travelled wide for the majority with cover and lay in down the home straight.
 
OUTBACK PIRATE – Travelled wide for the majority.
 
 
Race 2: COMMERCIAL HOTEL MAIDEN PLATE - 1100 metres 
 
BUNDABURRA – Hampered at the start by an outside runner.
 
I AM LAD – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages of the race. Jockey J. Babarovich stated the gelding did not handle the track conditions.
 
WICKED HUNDRED – Slow in to stride.
 
I’M LADDIE’S MISS – Jumped inwards hampering an inside runner and raced greenly throughout.
 
 
 
 
Race 3: UNION HOTEL OPEN HANDICAP - 1100 metres  
 
A DEPENDANT was a late scratching at 12:30pm as there were no riders available.
 
GIRLS AWAY – Slow to begin and lay in down the home straight.
 
NO OTHER WAY – Slow to begin and then travelled wide for the majority of the event.
 
WICKED WOODY – Lay in over the concluding stages and was straightened on several occasions.
 
CONQUISTADOR – Slow into stride and raced ungenerously throughout.
 
 
Race 4: ARTESIAN HOTEL CLASS 6 PLATE - 1300 metres  
 
M. Haley was the rider of EYE WINSOME.
 
BANSHAN – Slow into stride.
 
BONTEMPELLI – Slow to begin.
 
 
Race 5: 2017 RAILWAY HOTEL BM 60 HANDICAP - 1600 metres
