Race 1: B.J.R.L CLASS 4 PLATE - 1000 metres
 
BOUND TO ME – Hung in down the home straight and was corrected on several occasions then hung out over the last 100m when placed under pressure.
 
SWISS LOVE – Reluctant to stretch out in the early stages.
 
RIPPER REEBA – Jumped away awkwardly then travelled wide for much of the race.
 
 
Race 2: B.J.R.L OPEN HANDICAP - 1000 metres 
 
DRINKING COCKTAILS – Slow into stride.
 
MAKE AMENDS – Slow into stride.
 
SAMUEL JAMES – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
WICKED WOODY – Slow into stride.
 
I AM A LAD – Raced tightly with DRAYMAN and DRAGON FIRE approaching the 800m and was eased.
 
 
 
 
 
Race 3: THE MIGHTY RED MEN BM 50 HANDICAP - 1100 metres  
 
M. Haley was the rider of ZOOMING not M. Harley as per the race book.
 
NO OTHER WAY – Jockey D. Rewald was reprimanded for his whip use on the gelding.
 
CALIFORNIA RAIDER – Hampered when an inside runner shifted out near the 800m.
 
ZOOMING – Over raced onto heels near the 800m and was eased and shifted outwards.
 
LEND ME A TENNER – Travelled wide for much of the event.
 
 
Race 4: SHHHHH THE GOANNAS ARE COMING MAIDEN PLATE - 1200 metres  
 
FRIGHTENING DELAGO – Slipped at the start causing the gelding to be slow away, then eased off heels near the 850m when a front runner slowed its pace.
 
KAOS AGENT – Slow to begin.
 
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD – Slowed pace near the 850m, then stumbled on the finish line nearly dislodging the rider after vigorous whip action from jockey V. Venkaya who was advised to be less enthusiastic with the whip and ride his mounts out hands and heels.
 
 
Race 5: SAND GOANNAS CELEBRATING 100 YEARS BM 45 HANDICAP - 1300  metres     
 
L. Dillon was the replacement rider on THUNDER as C. Schumacher had to leave for family reasons.
 
NICCONI PASQUALE – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
NORTHERN MAGIC – Travelled wide in the early stages.
 
SCOTTABEE – Nearing the 300m ducked out abruptly into the line of another runner. Jockey M. Haley was reprimanded and reminded to exercise more care in future.
 
THUNDER – Clipped heels near the 300m and had to change course when another runner shifted ground.
 
BURJ AL – Tried to buck shortly after the start and was eased and took no competitive part in the race. Connections were advised stewards would need to see an improved performance next start.
