Race 1: SECRET GIRL STUFF QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 2-Y-O & UP - 1000 metres


ANGRY DESERT – Tightened at the 800m when an outside runner shifted ground.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD – Jumped away awkwardly.

DOCAROCKET – Slow to begin, lay in under pressure down the home straight.

MISS MARLO – Slow into stride and travelled wide for much of the race.

CHERMSIDE MISS – Jumped away awkwardly and travelled wide for much of the race.

ARE YOU REAL – Shifted in near the 800m tightening an inside runner. Jockey B. Richardson was reminded of her obligation to keep her mount straight.






Race 2: CENTRAL WEST TRAFFIC CONTROL CLASS B HANDICAP - 1000 metres


CLEARWATER – Jumped away slowly and travelled wide.

SNIP’N’DRIFT – Slow to begin.

OUR SAY – Bounded out of the gates and was slow into stride.

WICKED GRIMSHAW – Travelled wide for the majority of the race and lay in under pressure down the home straight.


Race 3: BARCALDINE WELDING WORKS BM 65 HANDICAP - 1000 metres


DRINKING COCKTAILS – Stood in the barriers refusing to jump losing considerable ground. Trainer H. Forster advised the mare took offence to the cross-over noseband placed on the horse and he would be removing it from the gear immediately.

DUCK IN DUBAI – Slow to begin and travelled wide.

AVOID THE MISSUS – Lay out over the concluding stages under pressure.

FIDEREUS – Jumped inwards and awkwardly, then travelled wide for much of the race.

STYLISH SON – Travelled wide in the early stages.

CLAPPERS – Slipped at the start causing the gelding to be slow away, then travelled wide for much of the race.

ALFIARTO – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages.


Race 4: CAPRICORN PLUMBING & BUILDING SUPPLIES/MICHAEL HORMAN TRANSPORT BM 50 HANDICAP - 1300 metres


STYLISH LUCK – Run onto heels approaching the 850m and had to be steadied for some distance.

HIDDEN ROAD – Travelled wide for much of the race.

BARBERANCE – Slow into stride.

ROSEXCEL – Travelled wide for much of the race.

GOLDEN LIGHT – Slow into stride and travelled wide in the middle and late stages.

Race 5: PAT ODGEN FAMILY TREE OF KNOWLEDGE CUP/OUTBACKRACING SHOWCASE HEAT OPEN HANDICAP - 1600 metres

B. Richardson was the replacement rider on TURKEY BEACH.

FASTNET FLYER – Travelled wide for much of the race.

OUR BEATNIK – Slow into stride.

KAKAKENNY – Slow to begin.

TUXEDO BOY – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages.

TURKEY BEACH – Over raced in the early stages.

THAT’S ENOUGH – Travelled wide in the early stages and finished tailed off.
