Race 1: UNION HOTEL CLASS B Handicap (1000 METRES)
 
HIGHLAND EAGLE, raced wide throughout and lay in down the home straight.
 
BOSTON BELLE, began awkwardly.
 
PHONDLE, jockey Matthew Gray pleaded guilty to a charge under the terms of AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using the whip on 8 occasions prior to the 100 metres, 3 more than permitted. Jockey Gray was fined the sum of $300.00.
 
ROSETTES, approaching the 100 metres shifted in towards the rail causing BOSTON BELLE, which was tiring to steady. Jockey John Rudd was issued a reprimand under the terms of AR131(a) for careless riding when shifting in when not sufficiently.
 
LUNAR GLIDE, approaching the 850 metres shifted out off the heels of HIGHLAND EAGLE.
 
HOT CHOCOLATE, slow to begin.
 
 
Race 2: DAVID MCKENZIE VET SERVICES Class 3 Handicap (1000 METRES)
 
FREDDIE EDDIE, approaching the 50 metres was severely hampered when ALLELUIA shifted out abruptly bucking.
 
BIGGER THAN THORN, approaching the 700 metres shifted out off the heels of MR CRUISE, lay in down the home straight.
 
ANOTHER TOSSER, began awkwardly.
 
ALLELUIA, approximately 50 metres after the start shifted out abruptly bucking and severely hampering FREDDIE EDDIE. Trainer Clinton Austin was advised that ALLELUIA must pass a satisfactory barrier trial before racing again.
 
PUR BOY BORRIS, approximately 50 metres was hampered by FREDDIE EDDIE which had been taken out by ALLELUIA.
 
 
Race 3: WESTERN PRODUCE & RURAL PRODUCE OPEN (1000 METRES)
 
MONSIEUR MACRON, underwent a pre-race veterinary inspection and was cleared to start. Bumped STRIKE POINT at the start, approaching the 600 metres had to be steadied for a stride when ASBURY PARK shifted in.
 
MORI’S PRESS, jumped in at the start.
 
GALAPAGOS, began awkwardly and as a result was slow into stride.
 
STRIKE POINT, began awkwardly and ducked in approaching 350 metres.
 
ASHBURY PARK, began awkwardly shifting in sharply at the start resulting in the saddle slipping and place the rider at difficulty throughout the race. Approaching the 600 metres shifted in and bumped MONSIEUR MACRON. Near the 350 metres ducked in and bumped STRIKE POINT.
 
 
 
Race 4: LACHLAN MILLER MEMBER FOR GREGORY QTIS Maiden Plate (1200 METRES)
 
BLINDSIDE, underwent a pre-race veterinary inspection and was cleared to start. Approaching the 200 metres shifted out abruptly despite the efforts of the rider causing HEZAGEM to check and lose ground.
 
HEZAGEM, approaching the 200 metres had to be checked and lost ground when BLINDSIDE shifted out abruptly for a stride. Jockey Matthew Gray who finished third on HEZAGEM, lodged a protest against BLINDSIDE who finished second for alleged interference near the 200 metres. After taking evidence from all participants concerned, viewing the available video evidence, and considering the margin of a long head between second and third. Stewards believed the margin lost in the incident was enough to uphold the protest and declared correct weight on the new numbers.
 
DECLASSIFY, slow to begin and failed to show any early speed.
 
 
Race 5:  BARCALDINE SANDGOANNAS EASTER EGG HUNT BENCHMARK 55 Handicap (1300 METRES)
 
VIKING RAID, slow into stride and shifted in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
BITTERSWEET PLUCK, bumped with TREBLA at the start.
 
THE LANDING, raced wide throughout.
 
TREBLA, bumped with BITTERSWEET PLUCK at the start.
