Race 1: PACIFIC GOLD MACADAMIA’S BENCHMARK 60 H’CAP 850M
 
MISS MANEUVER - Declared a late scratching at 12:55pm when it was discovered the horse had received some head trauma on route to the track.
 
ALAKAI – Slow to begin
 
OUTBACK LIGHTNING – Hung out when rounding the home turn
 
KURAMOS – Slow to begin
 
LIVERPOOL JANE – Raced wide through out
 
 
Race 2: PROPALLET MAIDEN PLATE 1090M
 
NANCY BIRD – Bumped shortly after the start by another runner. Raced greenly in the early stage, jockey reported the mare resented the kickback when following the field
 
PISTOL AND BOO – Jumped awkwardly and was slow to begin, shifting in shortly after the start making contact with another runner. Raced greenly in the early stages
 
ABSOTIVELY – start was delayed when proved difficult to load. Trainer D Schulz was advised a warning would be placed on the mare’s barrier manners.
 
DESTINY’S MATE – Slow into stride
Race 3: LEARMONTH’S FOODWORKS QTIS CLASS 2 PLATE 1090M

DAVEY – Raced wide throughout
 
FIRST BID – Jumped away awkwardly making contact with another runner
 
HOT TEMPO – Hampered slightly after jumping
 
PAR ONERI – Jumped awkwardly and raced greenly in the early stages
 
DUAN PHOENIX – Raced wide throughout. The gelding hung out noticeably from the 300m mark, jockey S Lacy reported that the gelding did not handle the sand track conditions
 
FERGOTTEN FEELING – Was slow away and blundered slightly on jumping. Raced wide throughout
 
Race 4: IRON JACK CLASS B H’CAP 1212M
 
MISTA POINT – Slow into stride
 
IRISH WINE – Jumped awkwardly
 
BLOOMERANG – Jumped away slowly. When approaching the 100m mark the gelding shifted in abruptly having to be steadied from the heels of another runner. Jockey K Gates that she felt that the gelding had reacted to the outside grassed area of the straight cause in the shift in.
 
DREAMS OF MINTO – start was delayed when proved difficult to load. Trainer D Gardiner was advised a warning would be placed on the mare’s barrier manners.
 
Race 5: BURNETT LAND & MACHINERY/KABOTA BATTLE OF THE BUSH QUALIFIER – OPEN H’CAP 1212M
 
REVELIO – Jumped awkwardly
 
PICK OF THE PUBS – Raced wide throughout. Hung out when rounding the home turned.

GUADALUPE - when questioned regarding below market performance rider M Elliot stated the mare, in his opinion, did not handle the prevailing sand track conditions.
