MISS SABATINI – Jumped away slow, hung out rounding the home turn and majority of the straight
 
MISS MANEUVER – Jumped awkwardly bumping another runner , raced wide throughout
 
DODGIES WAY – Was hampered just after jumping lost ground
 
LIFE’S A WITCH – Jumped away awkwardly
 
AIR TO SPARE – Raced wide throughout, Jockey J Missen advised stewards that he was not satisfied with the horse’s performance in today’s going. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
 
Race 2: THE ULTON CUP Maiden Plate 1090m
 
BRILLIANT MISTAKE – Ducked in upon jumping resulting in the jockey K Gates becoming momentarily unbalanced in the saddle.
 
BIG SHAKA – Jumped awkwardly making contact with another runner
 
NEW KINTARO – Hampered between two runners upon jumping, resented kickback
 
MIGHTY HEART – Jumped awkwardly making contact with another runner, hung out under pressure in the straight
 
CIMARRON KID – Raced wide throughout
 
TIGER STRYKE – Raced 5 wide throughout
 
Race 3: NAB OPEN Handicap 1090m
 
CRAIGLEA PISTOL – Shifted in abruptly just after jumping making contact with the runner to its outside.
 
DAVEY – Hampered by another just after jumping making contact with the hind quarters of MIDNIGHT CURFEW resulting in both horses losing ground
 
AL’S BRIEF – Slow away raced wide throughout

HIDDEN ANGEL – Hung out rounding the home turn and the majority of the straight
 
OVERLOAD – Raced wide throughout
 
BLOOMIN’ ARRY (NZ) – Was restrained from heels when placed in restricted room approaching the winning post
 
LUCKY TICKET – Slow into stride
 
SNITZIOLA – Reared slightly when the start was affected, resented the kickback
 
LEASE OF LIFE – Laid in under pressure in the straight, jockey K Gates was fined $200 for use of the whip more than 5 times prior to the 100 metres.

GOOD LUCK CHARLIE – Jumped awkwardly and ducking in upon jumping
