Race 1: BUNDABERG TOYOTA QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 850m
 
MAJIANG – Began awkwardly and lost ground
 
FLAMING SHOTS – Tightened between runners shortly after the start
 
MR NODDY – Began awkwardly and shifted in. Hung out rounding the home turn
 
TORTUGA – Raced wide throughout. Shifted in under pressure in the home straight
 
Race 2: LIVINGSTONE LOW ELECTRICAL CLASS B H’Cap 850m
 
Start was delayed so that QAS could attend to an injured on course patron.
 
KISS ‘N’ WIN – Raced wide throughout
 
SHENZI – Began awkwardly and was slow into stride. Hung out approaching and entering the home turn. Performed below market expectation App. R Wilson advised that after beginning only fairly the mare could not match the quick pace set and believes is better suited for distances further than today’s event. A post race veterinary examination of SHENZI did not identify any abnormal findings.
 
PERFECT SAGA –  Raced wide throughout
 
Race 3: RUM CITY FOODS BENCHMARK 45 H’Cap 1090m
 
 
WILD ELEMENT – Made the home turn awkwardly.
 
WINDQUEST – Began awkwardly and shifted out making contact with MIA SINGA
 
MIA SINGA – Bumped on jumping. Raced wide throughout.
 
PRINCE MANITOU – Began slowly. Raced wide throughout
 
Race 4: MI SIGNWORK OPEN H’Cap 1212m
 
AL’S BRIEF – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Raced wide throughout. App. R Wilson lost the use of her whip at the 300m
 
SEE FOR YOURSELF – Began awkwardly
 
Race 5: EAST END HOTEL BENCHMARK 60 H’Cap 1380m
 
Correct weight was delayed to allow the trainer B Johnson and rider R Faehr of FROZE to view the official photo finish image between 1st (LAYLA’S LAD) and 2nd placegetter (FROZE). After view the photo finish image was satisfied with the judges placings and correct weight declared.
 
FROZE – Raced wide throughout. Made the home turn awkwardly and shifted wider.
 
KRUGER – Began awkwardly.
