Race 1: INTEGRATED PACKAGING GROUP MDN PLT – 1090M
 
SUDDEN SUSPECT – Raced wide throughout.
 
FRENCH VIDA – Shifted in on jumping and raced wide throughout. When questioned regarding the performance, jockey R Faehr could offer no explanation for the poor performance although he added that the mare was extremely fractious in the mounting yard which could’ve had an effect. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer D Rideout advised stewards that FRENCH VIDA would now be leaving his stables, nonetheless, he was advised that FRENCH VIDA would be required to officially barrier trial prior to it’s next start to prove its manners and competitiveness.

POSEY COUNTY – Blundered on jumping and steadied shortly after when tightened between runners.
 
TISAYAC – Shifted out on jumping. Raced wide throughout.
 
Race 2: NUFARM/VISY CLASS B HCP – 1090M
 
FOXY ROSE – Raced wide throughout.
 
TOY WHITTY – Raced wide throughout.
 
CALL ME BEL – Hung out throughout the event placing its rider K Gates at a disadvantage. Trainer L Cronan was advised that a warning would be placed on the record of the mare.
 
INVESTIBLE – Bumped on the hindquarters shortly after jumping.
 
SETLIN SAGE – Bumped shortly after jumping. When questioned regarding the performance, jockey R Payne could offer no tangible excuse for the performance and added that her mount failed to respond to her riding at the 600m and as such elected not to place SETLIN SAGE under any further pressure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor post-race recovery. Trainer D Rideout undertook to report back to Stewards on the condition of SETLIN SAGE in the days subsequent.
 
SCARAB – Slow to begin. Trainer G Sitek reported that the immediate racing future of SCARAB would now be considered.
 
ON THE TWEED – Slow to begin. Steadied off heels of CALL ME BEL near the 100m which hung out.
 
Race 3: INCITEC PIVOT/RIVULIS QTIS BM60 HCP – 1212M
 
GAMBIT – Raced wide throughout.
 
FANTASY – Blundered on jumping.
 
DUKATTI – Shifted out on jumping bumping with MISS READY NOW.
 
ALL GAIN – Raced wide throughout. Jockey R Payne reported that her mount failed to handle the Bundaberg track. Trainer T Hess stated that he may now refrain from racing at the Bundaberg venue.
 
SMARTCELLI – Slow to begin.
 
MISS READY NOW – Bumped shortly after jumping. Jockey K Gates reported that her mount resented the kickback and failed to stretch out.
 
AUSSIE TYCOON – Rider C McIver reported that his mount, which was racing first up today, failed to run out the distance today and he elected not to place AUSSIE TYCOON under any further pressure over the concluding stages.
 
Race 4: HAIFA LIGHTNING OPEN HCP – 850M
 
MOUNTAIN COURAGE – Slow to begin.
 
REAL CUTE – Raced wide throughout.
 
MOMENTUM GLORY – Slow to muster speed.
 
Race 5: LINDSAY AUSTRALIA BUNDABERG GOLD CUP OPEN HCP – 1380M
 
MR TICKETS – Raced wide with cover throughout.
 
RITCHFORD – Raced wide with cover throughout.
 
MANILA MISS – When questioned regarding the performance, jockey C McIver stated that MANILA MISS raced like a tired horse and would benefit from a short spell. Trainer K Miller reported that the immediate racing future of MANILA MISS would now be considered.
 
MAHRATTA – Laid out rounding the home turn.
 
ELUSIVE ELEMENT – Raced wide throughout.
 
MODERN FAMILY – Slow to begin and failed to muster early speed. Rider K Gates was reprimanded under AR132(6)(c) for using her whip when out of contention.
