Race 1: SPINKS CONCRETING BM 60 HANDICAP - 1200 metres
 
TURKEY BEACH – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages.
 
AMADEO – Slow into stride and travelled wide for the majority with no cover.
 
MISHANI CENTURION – Slow to begin.
 
STYLISH LUCK – Slow to begin.
 
ZAHA DREAM – Travelled wide for the majority with no cover.
 
 
Race 2: BARCOO BUTCHERY CLASS B HANDICAP - 1200 metres 
 
 
N. Morton was the rider of DITZY DARCI and permitted to ride 3kg overweight.
 
KURUMBA – Slow into stride.
 
TENT LOVER – Travelled wide for the majority of the race.
 
DITZY DARCI – Slow into stride and travelled wide for much of the race.
 
THUNDER – Slow into stride and could not muster early speed. Jockey B. Richardson stated the gelding felt reluctant to stretch out in the early stages.
 
 
 
 
Race 3: SCHLUTER’S BAKERY MAIDEN PLATE - 1050 metres  
 
ANDRUM – Slow into stride and travelled wide in the middle and late stages of the race.
 
DOLLAR DANDY – Bucked shortly after the start dislodging jockey S. McGovern who was treated by ambulance officers and was subsequently cleared to fulfil the remainder of his riding engagements. Trainer K. McGovern was notified the gelding would have to trial to stewards satisfaction prior to racing again.
 
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD – Slow to muster early speed.
 
KURIL FOX – Slow to begin.
 
 
Race 4: BLACKALL IGA BM 50 HANDICAP - 1050 metres  
 
LEROY ROCKS – Placed in restricted racing room over the concluding stages and had to be steadied.
 
RHYTHM NATION – Lay in over the concluding stages under pressure.
 
TABRIZ – Slow to begin.
 
WESTBURY ROAD – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages.
 
HIDDEN CHIEF – Over raced in the early stages.
 
NOTHING TO DANCE – Jumped inwards.
 
 
Race 5: PETER SHAW ELECTRICAL OPEN HANDICAP - 1050 metres      
 
Jockey C. Bryen was the rider of ELJAY ATOM and permitted to ride 3kg overweight.
 
HEROISM – Contacted heavily at the start when an inside runner jumped awkwardly.
 
ZENDAYE – Travelled wide for the majority.
 
ELJAY ATOM – Raced ungenerously and wide for the majority.
 
FOUR IRON – Jumped outwards contacting another runner.
 
STYLISH SON – Tended to hang out in the early stages of the race.
