Allom Race 1: QTIS CLASS 1 HANDICAP – 1050 metres VIKING CLAP – Dipped on jumping and was slow to muster speed. DONE IT AGAIN – Jumped away inwards, laid in leaving the 200m and had to be corrected. NAZARIO – Jockey M. Schrapel advised the saddle slipped on jumping, raced greenly in the back straight and travelled wide to avoid the dusty track conditions. OUR GIRL TAMIYA – Jumped away awkwardly. Race 2: FOREST PARK SANTA GERTRUDIS MAIDEN PLATE - 1050 metres GREAT BRAVE – Laid in rounding the back turn and travelled wide with no cover to avoid the dusty conditions. RED RED ROSE – Slow to muster speed then ran wide rounding the home turn to avoid the dusty track conditions. Race 3: LAMBERT STUD COUNTRY STAMPEDE QUALIFER OPEN QUALITY HANDICAP - 1050 metres KAKAKENNY – Slow to begin and travelled wide for much of the race. Brushed with BENCHI PEGASUS on several occasions down the home straight. BENCHI PEGASUS – Brushed with KAKAKENNY in the straight on several occasions, eased off heels over the concluding stages when YOU KNOW THE ONE shifted out under pressure. LEO’S EXPRESS – Bounded out of the gates losing momentum and travelled wide for much of the race. YOU KNOW THE ONE – Jumped away awkwardly. Travelled wide for much of the race and shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages. Race 4: DENNIS O’BRIEN CLASS 4 PLATE - 1200 metres HOGES was declared a late scratching at 12:25pm on veterinary advise. Trainer D. Dolgner was advise a veterinary clearance would be required prior to its next race start. BEST GUESS – Jumped away awkwardly. BURDEN – Travelled wide for much of the race, eased off heels rounding the home turn when another runner hung out and was held up for clear running for several strides passing the 130m. HARVEST PRIDE – Begun awkwardly and was slow to begin. Travelled wide for much of the race. ANGELS OF FENWAY – Run off rounding the first turn. ENTERPRISE GRAND – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages. Race 5: SWAN HILL CATTLE CO. CLASS 3 PLATE - 1400 metres BLAINE – Jumped away awkwardly. Travelled wide with cover throughout. JARHEAD – Run off rounding the first turn then travelled wide for the remainder of the event. LUBYOUFOREVER – Failed to muster early gate speed and was ridden wider on the track to avoid the dusty conditions. ROCKY GAMBLE – Travelled wide with cover throughout the event. DRAGON IN THE NORTH – Travelled wide for much of the race. Race 6: COUNTRY CUPS CHALLENGE QUALIFIER/ STRATHMORE BLACKALL CUP OPEN PLATE – 1400 metres SPLITZ – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages. HERIOSM – Travelled wide for much of the race. VAN WINKEL – Jumped away awkwardly and over raced in the early stages. ARGENTO PERLO – Slow to begin. Ran wider near the 600m to obtain clear running.
