Race 1: CLASS B HANDICAP – 1050 metres
 
There was a delay to correct weight as stewards and judges verified the places declared with the photo finish print.
 
PURPLE TRUMPET – Travelled wide throughout.
 
ANOTHER EPISODE – Shifted out near the 250m to gain clear running.
 
PORTABELLE – Raced ungenerously throughout. Jockey Townsend stated PORTABELLE jumped well, however failed to travel at any stage and when asked for an effort, failed to respond to her urgings and ran to the line in a disappointing manner. A post-race veterinary inspection revealed no abnormalities.
 
FLOSS’S DREAM – Jockey McGillivray reported that FLOSS’S DREAM was inclined to hang out throughout the event and would benefit from a gear change. Hung out rounding the home turn.
 
GOLDEN STREET – Travelled three wide throughout the event.
 
HOT CHOCOLATE – Slow to begin. Laid in under pressure down the home straight.
 
 
Race 2: MAIDEN PLATE - 1200 metres 
 
BRADDOCK DOWN – Knuckled on jumping and travelled wide for much of the race.
 
SWAYSIR – Slow to begin and hard ridden to try and maintain contact with the front runners. Raced greenly down the back straight.
 
LOLA MAE – Travelled wide throughout the event.
 
THE BEAT – Hung out down the home straight.
 
 
Race 3: BM 55 HANDICAP - 1200 metres  
 
There was a delay to the start of Race 3 with the stirrup iron becoming dislodged on LOLLIPOP ROCKET as the mare was being led out onto the track and took some time to reattach.
 
DUCK IN DUBAI – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
GRANOLA STATE – Travelled wide in the early stages.
 
LOLLIPOP ROCKET – Slow into stride and travelled wide for much of the race.
 
WRITTEN GUARANTEE – Eased nearing the 850m when racing into restricted room, then travelled wide for the remainder.
 
 
Race 4: OPEN PLATE - 1200 metres  
 
ZENDAYE – Laid in under pressure throughout the event.
 
BOINGO – Travelled wide in the middle and latter stages then laid in over the concluding stages.
 
 
Race 5: BM 60 HANDICAP - 1400 metres      
 
JARHEAD – Taken wider at the 150m to gain clear running.
 
MASTER OF THE TURF – Travelled wide with no cover and laid in over the concluding stages.
 
SHADOW VISION – Slow into stride.
 
MISHANI CENTURION – Slow into stride and raced ungenerously thorough out.  Jockey T Townsend reported that the gelding did not handle the track.
