Due to predicted sultry weather conditions,this race meeting was conducted under the provisions of the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission Caring for Racing Animals in Extreme Heat Policy.
Race 1: QUALITY ELECTRICAL BENCHMARK 50 Handicap (1000m)
No racing  incidents.
Race 2: GOODWOOD PASTORAL COMPANY Class B Handicap (1200m)
SPOTTED WONDER – Rider D Ballard was reprimanded for accepting a ride when ½kg over the allocated weight. AR190 (3)
LIZ’ DELIGHT – Raced wide majority.
GIRL ON TOP – Inclined to lay in in the early stages . Raced wide majority.
Race 3: B&M GUNDERSEN / D&E FREIGHT SERVICES QTIS Maiden Plate (1200m)
HOPE AS ALWAYS – As no other rider was available Stewards permitted jockey D Ballard to ride the gelding  2kg over its allocated weight . Raced wide majority.
THE APPOINTED TIME – Fractious in the barriers. Slow to begin. Attempted to buck soon after the start .Trainer K .Krogh was advised the mare would required to trial satisfactorily prior to again being permitted to start in a race.
ISIS TURBO – Slow to begin.
Race 4: GRIMSHAW MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 65 Handicap (1200m)
FLASH HOMBRE- As no other rider was available Stewards permitted jockey D Ballard to ride the gelding 1½  kg over its allocated weight .
LORD GREYSTOKE – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
MY BOY SOOTY – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
Race 5 : TOBY HARRIS MEMORIAL BOULIA CUP BENCHMARK 60 Handicap (1400m)
FA FA – Slow to begin.
