CORNISH TALES – Withdrawn at scratching time as no rider available. 
 
ZATOCHIO – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
 
COBUNGRA BOY - Bumped with another runner on jumping.
 
WINDSOR GOLD – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
Prior to the declaration of correct weight, a review of semaphored placings revealed that the correct  placegetters’ numbers were 4, 10, 8 and 11 (dead-heat). The placings were amended accordingly. 
 
Race 2: Whitsunday Regional Council Maiden Plate 1100m
 
SHADWELL FLYER – Began awkwardly.
 
REALLY ROCKETS  - Was slowly into stride.
 
Race 3: Grandview Hotel Benchmark 65 Handicap 1200m
 
SUSSEX STREET – Jumped outwards bumping with another runner. 
 
SYDNEY HARBOUR – Was bumped by another runner on jumping.
 
HILLCREST – Near the 900m was racing ungenerously. 
 
BOYS FROM THE BUSH – Near the 700m was racing ungenerously and had to be steadied off heels.
 
Race 4:  Queens Beach Hotel Class B Handicap 1280m
 
MISTY ISLAND - Was slowly away. 
 
BACKTOSPEC – Was slowly into stride.
 
MOLONGLE JOY - Near the 700m was racing ungenerously and had to be steadied off heels.
 
Race 5: Industry Fire Services Whitsunday Cup Benchmark 55 Handicap 1470m
 
NYMBOI – Had to be restrained after improving onto heels near the 1200m.
 
BEYOND – Was slowly into stride.  Raced wide rounding the home turn. Jockey D Sparks will be interviewed at a later date in relation to his use of the whip prior to the 100m.
 
OUR LITTLE MIRACLE – Was slowly into stride.
 
PEARLY AVENUE – Near the 700m was momentarily restrained from the heels of another runner which shifted in when not quite clear. 
 
HARDEN UP PRINCESS – Shifted in near the 700m momentarily tightening another runner. Jockey B Thomson was advised to exercise more care in similar circmstances.
