RACE 1: BOWEN TYRE & MECHANICAL BM50 HANDICAP 1000m COLLAR’S UP – Slowly into stride. REMISSIO – Slowly into stride. RACE 2: INDUSTRY FIRE SERVICES BM60 HANDICAP 1200m RAINING DOLLARS – Bumped by another runner shortly after start. TRIPLE JEOPARDY – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. SONIC SWISH – Inconvenienced when racing in restricted room near the 850m. SOUND INVESTMENT – A post-race veterinary inspection revealed the gelding had dislodged a tooth in running. RACE 3: QUEENS BEACH HOTEL CLASS B HANDICAP 1280m JACKOH was withdrawn by order of Stewards at 1.30pm due to no rider being available. The start of this event was delayed due to the ambulance attendants being required to treat to a patron. Subsequently Races 4 and 5 were rescheduled to 3.45pm and 4.15pm respectively CENTENARIO – Fractious in barrier LOVE ME RUBY – Began awkwardly. Raced wide in the early stages. SAGRE’S POINT – Raced wide in the early stages. NICE TO DREAM – A post-race veterinary inspection revealed no significant abnormalities. RACE 4: LEHMANN PRINT SOLUTIONS MAIDEN PLATE 1280m BENTO – Was inconvenienced on jumping away. MISS FURY – Raced wide in the early stages. Hung out for a short distance passing the 600m. A post-race veterinary inspection revealed no abnormalities. RACE 5: BURDEKIN VETERINARY SERVICES BEN BOLT CUP BM60 HANDICAP 1470m SANOSUKE – Raced wide in the middle stages.
