Jockey Cullen who was transported to Bowen Hospital for assessment will require a medical clearance and also be required to successfully complete a cognitive test prior to resuming race riding. Prior to the declaration of correct weight Stewards ordered that all monies wagered on AIDAN ROCKET be refunded in full and further that deductions of 10 cents in the dollar win and 12 cents in the dollar place on the face value of the betting ticket be applied to all successful wagers placed on the event. POTAWATOMI - Over-raced in the early and middle stages.

Stewards inquired into the reason ROLL THE BEANS (D Smith) had to be checked passing the 150m. After hearing evidence from several riders and viewing available patrol footage it was established that approaching that point BOLD ZIP (S SHEARGOLD) shifted in marginally bumping with POTAWATOMI (C SPRY) causing that runner to become unbalanced and shift in. Simultaneously CHOMPERS (App K Lenton) shifted out resulting in ROLL THE BEANS which was attempting to improve between CHOMPERS and POTAWATOMI being placed in restricted room and having to be checked. Stewards in considering that a number of factors including the inexperience of App Lenton had contributed to the incident took no action other than to advise the riders to exercise more care.
