The following overweight was permitted by Stewards:
Race 4. G Kliese +1kg.
 
Race 1. MELCO ENGINEERING SPRINT BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1000m
 
WE’LL BEAT IT – App C Collis who did not attend today’s race meeting, but was declared as the rider of the gelding due to a misunderstanding, was replaced by App N Seymour. Broke through the front gates after being loaded. Quickly restrained. Underwent a Veterinary inspection and was cleared to start. Raced wide for the majority.
 
DON’T WHISPER – Slowly away.
 
BONDI BEAU - Slowly away.
 
FOCUS – Shifted out around heels near the 300m bumping with another runner. Raced greenly in the home straight. Jockey W D’Avila accidentally dropped his whip near the 100m.
 
SIRFINA – Bumped by another runner which shifted out near the 300m.
 
EXACTEMENTE - Raced wide for the majority.
 
Race 2. MCDONNELL EARTHMOVING BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP 1200m
 
SHE’S MAGANDA – Slowly into stride. Commenced to over-race when awkwardly placed in restricted room passing the 1000m. Retrained for some distance to avoid heels approaching the 900m.
 
SUPREME PRINCE - Slowly into stride. Steadied off heels near the 900m.
 
WIDESPREAD – Restrained off heels approaching the 900m. Shifted wider to improve passing the 600m. Made the home turn very wide.
 
CHEYENNE BEACH – Raced wide for the majority.
 
NORWEGIAN WOOD – Raced wide for the majority.
 
EM CEE GEE – Raced wide for the majority. App N Seymour accidentally dropped her whip near the 150m.
 
SPIRITOFTHEVALLEY - Raced wide for the majority.
 
Race 3. SCOTT GUMMOW KITCHENS QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
 
PURPLE HAT – Jockey C Spry who was to be overweight due to acceptable reasons, was replaced by P Cullen as the rider of the filly.
 
MISHANI PATRIOT – Unable to muster pace in the early stages.
 
ARMAGEDDON FLYER – Shifted in near the 800m when not fully clear of another runner which was momentarily restrained. Jockey S Sheargold was advised to exercise more care. Lost off hind plate in running.
 
ALPHA BLUE – Momentarily restrained near the 800m when crossed by another runner which was not fully clear.
 
PURPLE HAT – Raced wide for the majority.
 
Race 4. BIH BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1470m
 
LIGHTHEADEDNESS – Over-raced in the middle stages.
 
KEEP ON LOVING YOU – Raced wide for the majority.
 
KEIGHLEY SUN – Raced wide for the majority.
 
EROE - Raced wide for the majority.
 
POLHAMPTON – A post-race Veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the off fore heel.
 
Race 5. S&W CRANE HIRE BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP 1810m
 
NAOMI – Slowly away.
 
CHOMPERS – Shifted out under pressure down the running.
 
LINCOLN FURY – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
TICTOC TICTOC – Raced wide for the majority.
