Race 1. JAMES’S LASER SERVICES OPEN HANDICAP 1000m
 
FUNKY MUSIC – Slowly away. Laid in under pressure down the running. Raced wide for the majority.
 
FOCUS - Slowly away. Raced wide for the majority.
 
Race 2. MCDONNELL EARTHMOVING QTIS BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP (1) 1000m
 
MISHANI HURRICANE – Began awkwardly.
 
ENUFF ROSES – Raced ungenerously in the early stages.
 
QUEENOFMAINSTREET - Raced wide for the majority.
 
Immediately following the running of this event Judge Mr G Walz advised Stewards that due to a technical malfunction the photo finish camera had failed to capture the finish. Mr Walz was able to advise that, by his own observation of the race finish, the first four placegetters in order across the line were 1st #2 CURVETTA, 2nd #5 MISS SEATTLE, 3rd #1 SHEPHERD OF FIRE and 4th #11 MISHANI HURRICANE. After viewing the patrol footage, in the presence of Stewards and the connections of both CURVETTA and MISS SEATTLE, Mr Walz was satisfied that his original observation was accurate and Correct Weight was subsequently declared.
 
Race 3. NAHLA THOROUGHBREDS QTIS BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP (2) 1000m
 
WIDESPREAD – Slowly into stride after beginning awkwardly. Raced wide from the 600m.
 
ZAKHEERA - Slowly into stride.
 
TACTICAL ILLUSION – Inconvenienced on jumping.
 
TATACHILLA - Slowly into stride. Raced wide for the majority.
 
TOO HOT TOO HOLD - Slowly into stride. Raced wide for the majority.
 
 
Race 4. BIH CLASS B HANDICAP 1200m
 
HIGH REWARDS – Began awkwardly. Raced wide for the majority.
 
GOLDEN CHANCES – Slowly into stride. Raced wide for the majority.
 
GOLD TRICKLE - Slowly into stride.
 
DIVINE WIT – Inconvenienced when awkwardly placed in restricted room near the 700m.
 
CHATILLY – App N Seymour accidentally dropped her whip near the 150m.
 
SHE’S IMPERIAL – Finished tailed off. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the off foreleg. A Veterinary clearance is required prior to next race start.
 
 
Race 5. HILLERY GROUP MAIDEN PLATE 1280m
 
VISTA ORIENTAL – Slowly away.
 
DAMMOSQUITO – Slowly away.
 
ON YOUR SKATES - Slowly away.
 
NARRABRI COCO – Shifted in on jumping inconveniencing a runner to its inside.
 
HE WILL ACHEEV – Inconvenienced on jumping.
 
MISHANI PATRIOT - Raced wide for the majority.
 
LET’S RUNAWAY – Tired noticeably over the concluding stages. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed a poor recovery rate.
 
 
Race 6. BURDEKIN VET SERVICES BEN BOLT CUP BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1470m
 
ZEPPELIN – Underwent a Veterinary inspection after becoming fractious in the barrier and was passed fit to race.
 
ELLE A WALKING – Slowly away.
 
MASON’S CHANCE – Raced wide in the middle stages.
 
DAWN STRIKE – Raced wide for the majority.
 
DIAMONDS’N’STONES – Performed below market expectations. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer O Cairns undertook to report to Stewards should anything which may have had a bearing on the gelding’s performance become apparent in coming days.
