SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT

Stewards today opened an inquiry into the reason for Koscina (App. E Molloy) being tightened for room and blundering at the 400 metres of Race 3 (Benchmark 55 Handicap 1180m) at Home Hill on the 20th May 2023. After taking evidence from apprentice E Molloy (Koscina) and apprentice J Doolan (Zapluck), their respective masters (Trainer T Cook and Trainer J Manzelmann) and also trainer J Hatfield (Koscina), the stewards determined that on the evidence provided and after viewing the patrol film, that Apprentice J Doolan be granted the benefit of a grave doubt as to whether she had allowed her mount to shift in at the home turn when not clear of Koscina.  Apprentice J  Doolan was none the less cautioned and advised to allow more room to runners to her inside when in similar circumstances.
