Race 1- CAMOOWEAL ROADHOUSE/CAMOOWEAL POST OFFICE HOTEL Benchmark 60 Handicap – 1000M
 
ENCORONADA – Late scratching at 1.12pm by order of Stewards acting on veterinary advice after becoming cast in the barriers. Prior to the declaration of correct weight Stewards ordered  that all monies invested on ENCORONADA were to be refunded and that all successful bets for the win were to be paid at less five cents in the dollar and all successful place bets were to be paid less five cents  in the dollar on the face value of the ticket.  Trainer J. Bawden was advised that ENCORONADA must successfully complete a barrier jump out prior to again starting in a race, AR 20(e).
 
HUNTING – Marginally slow to go after being fractious in the barriers.  Raced wide rounding the home turn.    
 
SUGAR RAY RED – Raced wide rounding home turn.
 
FLYING MAGIC – Jumped inwards at the start. Rider reported that the gelding was not focused on the race throughout. Trainer was advised of this fact. 
 
READY ZAIM FIRE – On returning to scale was found to have blood in the off side nostril.   Veterinary examination failed to reveal any signs of external trauma. Trainer T. Parry was advised under the provisions of AR 79(8) the gelding must successfully complete a gallop of at least 1000m to the satisfaction of Stewards before again starting in a race. Rider interviewed in regards to the apparent improved performance today compared with previous recent runs. Stewards accepted the explanations provided.

 
Race 2 - FLOORWORX OPEN Handicap – 1000M
 
BORN TO FIRE – jumped into air as gates opened. 
 
 
Race 3 – ISA 4WD Class B Handicap – 1200M
 
THE BIG SHIELA – Knuckled on jumping and raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
ONE MORE FOR WILSON – Slow to gather pace at the start.  Raced wide all the way.
 
FLOSSY – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Race 4 – SULLY'S OUTBACK CARPENTRY & MILLER FAMILY QTIS Maiden Plate – 1200M

 
HINA MATSURI –  Bumped with another runner on jumping. 
 
SIC BO – Jumped  outwards  and bumped another runner.  Rider reported during running at about the 600m himself and the gelding were struck by kickback which caused him some inconvenience. 
 
LAUNDRIOMAT JOE – Bumped by another runner on jumping. 
 
GOT THE TICKETS – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Race 5 – NORTHERN RURAL GROUP CAMOOWEAL CUP BenchMark 60 Handicap – 1400M
 
KING SOLOMON – Rider A. Spradau was found to be overweight on weighing out and as no other rider was available Stewards allowed him to ride the gelding half a kilogram overweight.  He was fined $100 under the provisions of  AR 190(3).
 
FIRE RANGER – Slow to begin and raced wide for the majority of the race. 
 
HIDONAL – Broke through the barriers prior to the start and was restrained immediately, was examined by the  veterinary surgeon and was cleared to start.   
 
MANDALONG PASS – After leading from the start was then shifted wider on the track rounding the home turn. 
 
UNDER THE WEATHER – Raced wide for the majority of the race and finished tailed off. Trainer T. Parry was interviewed and advised the gelding has been mixing its performances recently. A Post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
