Race 1: BOLD & FODDER Class B Handicap – 1000 metres
1st – HAYYLER’S ILLUSION, 2nd – DELTA MAGIC, 3rd – SEEKTOWIN, 4th – SERIOUSLY HAPPY
 
Jockey D Simmons received a bite from a horse to his upper right leg whilst the horses were parading in the parade area prior to the race.  Jockey Simmons was attended to by ambulance officers and subsequently cleared to take his ride on FUJIN in the race.
 
BANOFFE – Slow to begin.
 
MANSALE – Eased off heels shortly after the start.
 
DELTA MAGIC – Eased off heels near the 700m.
 
Race 2: BULK SAND & NATURAL AGGS Benchmark 65 Handicap  – 1000 metres
1st CHEERING, 2nd MOLONGLE HERO, 3rd SMOOTH ELEMENT, 4th DON’T TELL PETE
 
HELOW TUCKER – Began awkwardly with its head in the air.
 
RAMESSES – Raced wide in the middle stages of the race.
 
Race 3: HAMMER & CO EARTHMOVING QTIS Maiden Plate – 1200 metres
1st CATHEDRAL CITY, 2nd MIGHTY MEERKAT, 3rd DORIS STAR, 4th WHO’S RIGHT
 
WHO’S RIGHT - Fractious in the barrier prior to the start.
 
DORIS STAR - Jockey G. Watson reported that he lost his stirrup iron for the first 100m of the race.
 
PROTECTIVE CUSTODY – Bumped another runner at the start.
 
CATHEDRAL CITY – Bumped another runner and lost ground at the start.
 
PRINCESS DONWAA – Shifted in across heels shortly after the start. Raced ungenerously and hung out for the majority of the race. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer C. Lindgren, was advised the mare must trial to the Stewards satisfaction prior to being permitted to race again.
 
MY BOY TICKETS – Raced fiercely early stages then raced greenly throughout the race.
 
Race 4: PACIFIC BATHROOMS Benchmark 55 Handicap – 1200 metres
1st CHOMARU, 2nd DEVASTATING RHYTHM, 3rd NYMBOI, 4th CRAIGLEA FOCUS
 
 
SUNNY CHIEF – Late scratching at 1:20pm due to no rider being available.
 
CRAIGLEA FOCUS – Shifted out on to another runner at the start.
 
SYDNEY HARBOUR – Bumped by another runner and lost ground at the start.
 
CHOMARU – Jumped out and bumped another runner at the start.
 
NYMBOI – Tightened for room and eased near the 1100m.
 
SOUTHO SATURDAY – Checked off heels near the 1100m.
 
RENEGADE RUBY – Checked off heels near the 1100m.
 
DEVASTATING RHYTHM – Stewards accepted the explanation tendered by trainer J. Petersen for the late notification of jockey J. Long. Began awkwardly.
Tightened between runners near the 1000m.
 
Race 5: MAGIC MILLIONS TOWERS CUP BenchMark 55 Handicap – 1800 metres
1st ALDREN, 2nd GLAMORGAN BABE, 3rd MONACO ROCKET, 4th ZEDAHEEL
 
Jockey L. Attard was replaced by K. Aho as the rider of MONACO ROCKET as jockey Attard was unable to make the allocated weight. Stewards accepted the explanation tendered by L. Attard.  
 
RANGA ROCKET – D. Simmons was replaced by jockey D. Sparks due to jockey Simmons succumbing to a previous injury. Began awkwardly and was slow into stride.
 
PERFECTLY SWEET – Bumped another runner at the start. Raced keenly in the early stages of the race, pulled hard and finished tailed off. 
 
BLU AXIS – Bumped by another runner at the start.
