General
In response to a representation from participants, Stewards in consultation with Club Officials brought the starting times of Races 2 to 5 forward to enable those who had travelled long distances to attend the meeting to commence their return journey earlier. In agreeing to this concession Stewards and Officials were mindful that the meeting was being conducted under the Racing Queensland COVID-19 Protocol with no wagering and no patrons on course.  
Race 1. BACK TO RACING QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1000m
Cider Apple – Resuming from a lengthy absence from racing. Underwent a pre-race veterinary inspection and cleared to start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have sustained bruising to the left eye in running.
Silentus – Slowly into stride.
All Reign – Slowly away. Jockey M Haley reported that the gelding was reluctant to stretch out due to the kickback in running.
Ahead Of The Rest – Slowly away after beginning awkwardly. Raced wide for the majority.
Me and My Drum – Began awkwardly. Raced wide for the majority.
Buwan - Raced wide for the majority.
Tatachilla - Raced wide for the majority.
De Carlo – Jockey M Abe who was delayed enroute to the meeting was replaced by P Romeo as the rider of the filly. Buffeted between runners on jumping. Raced wide for the majority.
Race 2. MEMBER’S BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1000m
Mainshaft - Resuming from a lengthy absence from racing. Underwent a pre-race veterinary inspection and cleared to start.
Rear View Mirror - Slowly away. Buffeted between runners on jumping.
Solo Melody – Laid in soon after jumping hampering a runner to its inside.
Misty Morning – Lost ground when hampered by another runner soon after jumping. Raced wide for the majority.
Written Image – Raced ungenerously in the middle stages before shifting wider near the 600m to avoid the kickback in running and racing wide from that point.
Cheeky Reward – Jockey G Kliese reported the mare had been reluctant to stretch out due to the kickback in running.
Race 3. ANNAVALE BRAHMAN OPEN HANDICAP 1000m
Alert By Sea – After beginning awkwardly, shifted out bumping another runner.
District – Bumped by another runner on jumping.
Margot – Commenced to lose ground near the 400m. Jockey P Romeo reported that the tongue tie and bubble cheeker had both become displaced in running at that point of the race.
Race 4. ENTERPRISE HOTEL CLASS B HANDICAP 1200m
Spot On – Fractious in the barrier. Slowly away after beginning awkwardly.
Hard Currency – Jockey A Holt advised the gelding was reluctant to stretch out in the early and middle stages due to the kickback in running.
Jackoh – Hung in throughout. Raced wide for the majority.
Race 5. TOM’S QUALITY MEATS CLASS B HANDICAP 1600m
Princess Misaka – Slowly into stride. Unable to muster pace in the early stages. Made up some ground over the concluding stages.
Notoriety – Shifted wider passing the 1300m racing wide from that point.
Bush Beat Rocket - Raced wide for the majority.
