QUEENSLAND RACING INTEGRITY COMMISSION STEWARDS REPORT.CHARLEVILLE RACE CLUB 16 MARCH 2019. Weather- Fine Rail-True Track-Good 4 (SAND) Officials-Chairmen of Stewards- R. HitchenerStewards- E. HodgesClerk of Scales- W. MoodyVeterinarian- Dr. B. BarkerStarter- E. BrassingtonJudge- B. LinesBetting Steward- Stewards RACE 1: CENTRAL WARREGO RACE CLUB’S MAIDEN PLATE 1100M- DARTS- Shifted out abruptly on jumping and lost considerable ground. Trainer M Johnstone was advised a warning would be issued against the gelding. GREAT SHINE- Raced in restricted room for a short distance near the 1000m. LENROY- Laid in under throughout the event and raced wide in the early and middle stages. Raced greenly throughout. WE CALL HER LOLA- Hung out under pressure in the home straight. RACE 2: MURWEH SHIRE COUNCIL CLASS B H’CAP 1200M- AURIC GOLD- Began awkwardly and lost ground. Raced wide throughout. UNACCOMPANIED- Steadied when placed in restricted room near the 900m. AYLA’S ANGEL- Hung out rounding the home turn. App. J Morrow could offer no explanation for the seemingly disappointing performance. App. J Morrow was fined $100 for using his whip on more than 5 occasions prior to the 100m. In accessing penalty Stewards took into account App. Morrow’s relative in experience as an apprentice rider..DITZY DARCI- Following the poor performance trainer W Baker advised he will now consider the mares racing future. RACE 3: BRAD LINES & LEUKEMIA FOUNDATION WORLD’S GREATEST SHAVE 50 H’CAP 1000M- LINKED- Knuckled on jumping losing ground, and then failed to muster speed. RACE 4: PRESIDENT’S OPEN HCAP 1000M- FORSYTH- Slow to begin and hung out throughout. NARANJA- Began awkwardly. DENIS DENUTO- Raced wide without cover throughout. RACE 5: BOOKMAKERS BENCHMARK 60 HCAP 1200M- SCHMIZO- Raced wide throughout. SUMMARY OF ACTIONS LICENSEES-Fines-Race 2- J Morrow- $100- Use of whip on more than 5 occasions prior to 100m. SUMMARY OF ACTIONS CONCERNING HORSES-Warnings-Race 1- Darts- Shifted out abruptly on jumping.SWABS-All winners.
