Race 1:MAIDEN PLATE – 1030m
 
MARYLEE – As the mare had not raced in the 12 months prior to today’s event it underwent a veterinary examination where it was subsequently passed fit to start.
 
IRONORE GAL – Trainer G. Banks was fined $100 under AR65 for failing to produce the fillies thoroughbred identification card.
 
THE GOLDEN SOUL – Made contact with the running rail on route to the barriers. Upon arrival to the barriers was assessed by the on-course veterinarian and was subsequently passed fit to start.  
 
CHEERS FOR CHARLIE – Upon retuning to scale, jockey B. Newport advised that his mount resented the kick back of todays event. Hung out rounding the home turn.
 
ENGAGED – Raced wide without cover throughout the early and middle stages. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
SAM’S ALLYCAT – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
FROM THE GONG – Eased from heels at the 800m.
 
BELLABERRY – Slow to begin. Raced in restricted room approaching the 900m and as a result was forced to restrain. Jockey S. Lacy was reprimanded under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for her use of the whip on six occasions prior to the 100m.  
 
KONNICHIWA – Began awkwardly.
 
Race 2:OPEN HANDICAP – 1030m  
 
BRIS VEGAS – Began awkwardly making contact with another runner to the inside.
 
MUSIC SCENE – Bumped by another runner upon jumping.
 
MR TICKETS – Slow into stride. Upon returning to scale Apprentice T. Wheeler advised that his saddle shifted back throughout the event placing him at a disadvantage when attempting to ride his mount out.   
 
HANOVER SQUARE – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
NEW ALLIANCE – Raced three wide without cover throughout the early and middle stages.
 
CHAMBERLAIN – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
 
 
Race 3: RATINGS BAND 0 - 60 HANDICAP – 1200m
 
SIR BAM – Declared a late scratching at 12:00pm due to transport difficulties.
 
ESSAKA – Began awkwardly.
 
MAKE AMENDS – Stood flat footed and lost ground.
 
TOECANARGIE MAN – Raced wide without cover throughout
 
WICCAN REDE – Began awkwardly making contact with another runner to the outside.
 
UNTOLD SECRETS – Bumped by another runner upon jumping.
 
PRIVATE PROFIT – Raced wide without cover throughout. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
Race 4:QTIS BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP – 1400m
 
QUEENOFMAINSTREET – In the early stages when attempting to obtain a position on the fence, tightened another runner to the inside placing them in restricted room momentarily. Jockey H. Richardson was advised to exercise fore care in future circumstances.
 
DIVINE MISS BOOM – Placed in restricted room for a short distance in the early stages when another runner shifted in.
 
OBJECTIVE – Slow to begin.
 
CAPTAIN CRUMPET – Raced wide throughout the early and middle stages.
 
MAHUSSEY – Steadied to avoid heels at the 150m when another runner shifted in.
 
MONT MONT – Shifted in at the 150m forcing another runner to be restrained. Jockey L. Abbott was advised to exercise more care.
 
Race 5:OPEN HANDICAP – 1400m

SILENT FLYER – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
GUD ONYA – Blundered upon jumping resulting in its rider becoming unbalanced and lost ground.
 
RED DEVIL – Jockey L. McCoy was reprimanded under AR.132(5) for her excessive use of the whip 16 times throughout the event. Following the event, trainer D. Reynolds advised that the gelding had lost its off hind shoe throughout the event and as a result had sustained some minor lacerations to its lower hind leg.
 
SCRABBLE – Slow to begin.
