Race 1: Isaac Regional Council QTIS Class 2 Handicap 1000m
 
CASSAVANCE – Slow into stride and raced wide throughout.
 
SMOKING LADY – Slow into stride.
 
GAP THE FIELD – Stewards acceded to a request from trainer G Bell to remove the winkers from the filly. Public announcements were made to this effect. Raced ungenerously approaching the 800 metres when resenting the dust kickback.
 
JELLYBEAN – Began awkwardly. Stewards questioned Jockey S Watkin with regard to the performance of the mare. Jockey Watkin stated that the barrier blanket had hampered the mare at the start and further added that near the 600 metres the mare was bumped by another runner on a number of occasions. He was also of the opinion that the mare failed to handle the track surface. Trainer G Bell expressed disappointment in the run and believed that the mare failed to handle the track surface.
 
WAY TOO SASSY – Raced wide throughout.
 
Race 2: Belyando Produce Class B Handicap 1200m
 
MOUNTAIN RETREAT – Made heavy contact with the gate on leaving the enclosure. Declared a late scratching on veterinary advice at 2:17pm. Deductions were as follows:
 
3 cents in the dollar on the face value of win bets
5 cents in the dollar on the face value place bets for the winner
4 cents in the dollar on the face value of 2nd place bets
4 cents in the dollar on the face value of 3rd place bets
 
 
SHADEA LADY – Slow to begin.
 
GENERAL SIDEREUS – Trainer C Lindgren was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding for being difficult to load. Slow to begin.
 
DANTIEN – Began awkwardly and raced ungenerously in the early stages.
 
DRUMSHOW – Raced wide throughout.
 
GORGEOUS GAL – App. A Thompson was spoken to regarding his use of the whip prior to the 100 metre mark.
 
Race 3: Viv Wood Memorial Maiden Plate 1200m
 
STARKIN – Jumped out at the start tightening another runner.
 
CLEAR THE DEBT – Tightened on jumping when another runner jumped out.
 
LA JULIETTE – Raced wide throughout.
 
Race 4: Clermont Bulk Haulage Ratings Band 0-60 Handicap 1400m
 
ATEACES – Began awkwardly and lost ground at the start.
 
FRISKIER – Raced wide throughout.
 
FUN FOR ME – Checked near the 1000 metres when tightened for room by another running laying in despite the efforts of its rider. Shifted out to avoid kickback and raced wide from the 900 metres. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.
 
Race 5: Tony Kenny Memorial Clermont Cup Open Handicap 1400m  
 
FAR NORTH – Began awkwardly.
 
CRAIGLEA GHETTO – Began awkwardly and shifted out shortly after the start bumping another runner.
 
STILL THE SAME – Began awkwardly and shifted out shortly after the start. App. A Thompson was fined $100 for making a celebratory gesture prior to the finishing post.
 
DUBELO’S LAD – Passing the 800 metres when attempting to hold a position and when racing tightly between runners had to be checked and lost ground.
 
BOLD PEAK – Passing the 800 metres had to be steadied when awkwardly placed at the heels of DUBELO’S LAD.
