KERRERA – Slow to begin and trailed the field throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed lameness in the off-hind leg. Connections were advised that the gelding has been stood down from racing pending a veterinary clearance.
 
CASH GAME – Raced wide throughout.
 
GOLD COAST DOLL – Slow to begin and raced wide throughout.
 
 
 
Race 2: CLERMONT AGENCIES QTIS RATINGS BAND 0 - 55 Handicap 1200 metres
 
 
HIGHLAND EAGLE – Began awkwardly.

TEST OF WAR – Jockey Tasha Chambers was reprimanded (4th offence) under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for applying the whip to her mount on 6 occasions prior to the 100m, 1 more than permitted.
 
BRIDEZILLA (NZ) – Jockey Adam Sewell reported that his saddle slipped immediately after the start and as a result he was placed at a significant disadvantage.
 
FLASH FABIAN – Jockey Chris McIver dropped his whip over the concluding stages.
