Race 1:ALL-PRO BM45 HCP – 1000M
 
CROWN REACH – Bumped on jumping with WILD CHILD.
 
WILD CHILD – Bumped on jumping with CROWN REACH and raced wide throughout to avoid the dusty conditions.
 
 
Race 2: CLERMONT BULK HAULAGE COUNTRY STAMPEDE QUALIFIER OPEN HCP – 1000M
 
Correct weight was delayed allowing rider of 4TH placegetter ENTREPRENEURIAL (M Apel) to view the available films to see if there were sufficient grounds for a protest. After viewing the available films, apprentice Apel elected not to proceed and correct weight was declared.

YULONG SOVEREIGN – Fractious in barrier and was slow to begin.
 
ENTREPRENEURIAL – Slow to begin and nearing the 850m had to be checked when KALASHNIKOV shifted in when insufficiently clear. At a subsequent inquiry Jockey E Bell was charged with careless riding under AR131(a) and her license was suspended for a period of 7 days starting from midnight 18th November and to expire on midnight 25th November. Jockey Bell was advised of her rights to an appeal.

Race 3: CLERMONT CONCRETE BM60 HCP – 1200M
 
Prior to the declaration of correct weight, D Boutet the jockey of 3rd place runner TEST OF WAR lodged a protest against 1st placegetter ONCHAO ridden by apprentice M Apel, alleging interference over the concluding stages. After considering the protest, stewards determined that whilst ONCHAO shifted in when insufficiently clear of TEST OF WAR causing that runner to be taken in onto TUPELAWARA then check and lose its rightful running, they could not be satisfied that the interference sustained cost TEST OF WAR the beaten margin between the runners and correct weight was declared.
 
At a subsequent inquiry apprentice Apel, represented by trainer G Bell, was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) and her license to ride in races was suspended from a period of 8 days starting from midnight 27th November and to expire on midnight 5th December. Apprentice Apel was advised of her rights to an appeal.
 
ONCHAO – Slow to begin. Shifted in and made heavy contact with TEST OF WAR over the concluding stages.
 
TUPELAWARA – Bumped with TEST OF WAR over the concluding stages when that runner was taken in.
 
PHONDLE – Raced three wide throughout.
 
TEST OF WAR – Checked and taken in onto TUPELAWARA over the concluding stages.
 
Race 4: PURDIES TYRES / CLERMONT AGENCIES MDN PLT – 1200M
 
CHARGRILL – Steadied for a stride shortly after passing the 1000m and then taken wider in the early stages to avoid the dusty conditions. Contacted the running rail nearing the 400m.
 
MACFARLANE (GB) – Raced wide in the early stages.
 
WOLF POINT – Slow to begin.
 
REAL QUEEN – Trainer G Bell informed stewards that after the disappointing performance, the immediate racing future of REAL QUEEN would now be considered.
 
Race 5: COMMERCIAL HOTEL / MADDEN INVESTMENTS QTIS BM50 HCP – 1400M
 
LIFETIMEQUEST – Jumped away very awkwardly missing the start as a result. Rider dropped her whip rounding the home turn.
 
HALLSIDE HOT STUFF – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have sustained speedy cuts throughout the event.
 
ADMIRAL ASH – Slow to begin.
 
DAWN REBEL – Apprentice J Doolan reported on scale that the ring bit on DAWN REBEL became displaced at some point nearing the 400m mark and only was able to regain proper use of the bit at the 100m mark. Apprentice Doolan further stated however that at this stage her mount was then placed in the dusty conditions and could make no impression on the event.
 
PERSAGA – Raced wide throughout.
