GENERAL

After a track inspection with a delegate of senior riders at todays meeting it was identified that a section of the track from the 1000m start location to the point it joins the course proper was inconsistent with wet areas from rain overnight and posed a safety risk to all horses and riders. After interviewing all trainers engaged for races 2 and 3 and with due consultation with the club stewards acting under the provisions of AR21(f)(ii) altered the starting position to approximately 1050m in order to avoid the wet patch on the outside of the course proper.

Stewards permitted trainer H Forster to scratch NEW YORK WORLD from race 2 on 15/11/24 at 3:32pm due to no rider being available, giving consideration to the time that Mr Forster would have to leave his stable would be prior to the time scratchings would finalised on race day.
