Raced wide majority of the race. Hung in over the concluding stages of the race. SINGLE MALT – Jumped awkwardly, then slow into stride. ST MORITZ – Jumped awkwardly contacting RAPID STYLE. Raced wide majority of the race. ZOROSSA – Fractious in the gates prior to the start. BELLEOFTHEHUNTER – Raced wide majority of the race NOUVERRE FILLE – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination as had not raced for over twelve (12) months and was cleared to start. LE WEASEL – Trainer J Morris was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding after proving difficult to load and delaying the start. SPURCIFIC JOURNEY – Raced wide majority of the race. Race 2: CENTRAL HOTEL Class 6 Plate 1200 metres STRIKE POINT – Raced wide throughout the race. MAGNATE – Raced keenly in the early stages.Became awkward on heels of SOLE HEIR approaching the 200m. MISHANI REBEL – Jumped awkwardly, then become awkward on heels shortly after the start. SOLE HEIR – Was inclined to hang in approaching the 200m. VIGOROUS FLOW – Began awkwardlyand dipped shortly after the start. Jockey K Ballard reported the horse never felt comfortable at any stages of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. GOLD BRACELET – Raced wide throughout the race. A MILLION DREAMS (NZ) – Slow to begin, Jockey T Townsend reported the gelding never travelled at any stage of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. A warning was placed on gelding for not being competitive in today’s race. Race 3: LORRAINE PASTORAL COMPANY BENCHMARK 45 Handicap 1200 metres THE BROTHERHOOD – Raced keenly in the middle stages. DEVIL – Jumped awkwardly. ILLECEBROUS – Raced wide throughout the race. Hung out on the home turn. KARBORS – Approaching the 1000m was inclined to shift in, Jockey T Leslight was advised to show more care when shifting ground. Raced wide throughout the race. LIZ' DELIGHT – Raced wide throughout. MISS BOUCHARD – Was tightened for room approaching the 1000m, when KARBORS started shifting in. Race 4: BENTLEYS COUNTRY STAMPEDE QUALIFIER OPEN Handicap 1000 metres KEDLESTON – Raced wide throughout the race. HALCYON HOUSE – Jumped awkwardly. TEDDY MERCURY – Hung out approaching the home turn. LOUIE THE LEGEND – Jumped awkwardly. The gelding was inclined to hang in when placed under pressure, and at heels in the home straight. CRAIGLEA ALTONA – Raced wide throughout the race. Shifted in under pressure in the home straight. Race 5: HONEYCOMBES BENCHMARK 55 Handicap 1000 metres Correct weight was delayed allowing the jockeys to look at the photo between 4th DUNNERS and 5th CHRISTMAS CREEK. CRYSTAL HELMET – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination as had not raced for over twelve (12) months and was cleared to start. COCHRANE – Jumped awkwardly. Raced wide throughout the race. MR CRUISE – Jumped inwards shortly after the start contacting MISHANI HURRICANE. FLAMING TORCH (NZ) – Jumped awkwardly. MISHANI HURRICANE – Jumped awkwardly and then bumped by MR CRUISE shortly after the start. Race 6: CELEBRATING THE HOME OF THE FLYING DOCTOR COUNTRY CUPS CHALLENGE QUAL/CLONCURRY CUP 1600 metres LOUD ENOUGH – Jockey J Felix reported the gelding never travelled throughout the race. DUKES COUNTY – Jockey K Ballard was reprimanded under the provisions of AR132(7)(a)(ii) using the whip seven (7) times prior to the 100m, two (2) more than permitted. MYOLA MILLY – Jumped awkwardly and then bumped TOO HOT TO HOLD shortly after the start. Raced wide throughout. Shifted in under pressure over the concluding stages. MOPAR – Raced wide throughout. KEEP ON LOVING YOU – Raced wide throughout. TOO HOT TO HOLD – Jumped awkwardly. Race 7: NIVERAK SMASH REPAIRS BENCHMARK 50 Handicap 1400 metres COUNT MICHELIN – Raced wide throughout the race. ART THIEF – Jumped awkwardly. Never travelled in the early stages of the race. TAKEN ON CHANCE – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in both fronts. A veterinary certificate will be required before the mare’s next race start. RIVERSIDE BLUES – Raced wide throughout the race. MILKY ROCKET – Slow into stride. Raced wide throughout the race. STROKE OF MAGIC – Fractious in the gates prior to the start. A warning was placed on the mare for its barrier manners. ZOOMARATTA – Fractious in the gates prior to the start. Raced wide throughout the race.Jockey D Smith reported the gelding resented the kickback in the early stages of the race. Inclined to shift in over the concluding stages when placed under pressure.
