GENERAL

Jockey J Lait was admonished for his standard of dress.

Race 1: Ironmonger Shipping Class 3 Plate - 1000 metres

Emotionally Yours- Slow into stride

Great Dansaar- Prior to the winning post, rider obliged to stop riding when improved onto heels of another runner.

Daily Planet- Raced wide throughout.

Navy Chic- Near 800 metres, checked and lost ground.

Cold Collect- Post-race veterinary inspection revealed superficial lacerations to both hind legs. App N Vuille was found guilty to a charge of careless riding in that she permitted her mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of Navy Chic, which resulted in that runner being checked and lost ground. App Vuille’s licence to ride in races was suspended from m/n Saturday 3rd January, 2015 up to and including Saturday 10th January, 2015 (2 race meetings).

Wickenby- Checked and lost some ground when hampered by runner checking and losing ground forward of it.

Race 2: Landmark QTIS Maiden Plate - 1072 metres

On The Wicket- At the start, heavy contact with another runner. Inconvenienced and lost some ground shortly after the start. Near the 700 metres, lay in onto another runner. Near 600 metres, shifted out to avoid another horse which had lost ground and raced wide the remainder.

Gary The Conman- At the start, heavy contact with another runner. Shortly after the start, commenced to race greenly. Rider reported the horse raced field-shy and resented the kick back. Near the 600 metres, hung out.

Natonya- Jumped out and made contact with another runner. Shortly after the start, shifted in marginally.

Lightning Artist- Jumped in and made contact with another runner. Raced wide throughout.

Liable- Raced wide throughout.

Race 3: Calliope Central Bowls Club Class B Handicap- 1072 metres

Azahara- Explanation for late declaration of rider was accepted.

All Bar The Jewels- Slow into stride and hung out from the 600 metres to the 250 metres.

Choice Journey- At the start, made contact with another runner.

Empress Ayleah- At the start, made contact with another runner.

De Mestre- Slow to begin and raced wide throughout.

Indy’s Bullion- Began awkwardly.

Race 4: Rayment Excavation Open Handicap- 1072 metres

Bagabob- When no senior rider was available at or closer to the allotted weight, Jockey McGovern was permitted to ride the horse 1 kilogram overweight. Jockey McGovern was fined $100. AR 120(b). Near 900 metres, taken in when another runner lay in. Near the 800 metres, when inside runner taken outwards, taken out across the heels of Schoorwin, clipped heels and blundered and unbalanced the rider. Hung out and raced wide around the 250 metres.

Schoorwin- At the start, contact with another runner. Near the 900 metres, lay in slightly. Raced wide the majority of the race. A post-race veterinary inspection revealed a laceration to the off hind above its fetlock.

Willywynya- At the start, contact with another runner.

Bonny the Viper- Rider reported his mount hung out and caused interference to runners on its outside near the 800 metres and again hung out approaching the 250 metres. Stewards will allow Trainer K Miller to make submission on any embargo to be placed on the mare.

Emperor- Near the 800 metres, taken out when inside runner hung out.

Montanus- Near the 800 metres, taken out when inside runner hung out.

Race 5: Calliope Rural Traders Gold Cup BM 65 Handicap- 1608 metres

Moonlight Magic- Trainer P Pengelly was fined $100 for late declaration of App S Chan as the rider. Near the 850 metres, when racing alone at rear of field, broke through the inside running rail and dislodged the rider, who was transported to hospital for observation. Stewards will inquire into this incident at a later date and time. A post-race veterinary inspection revealed superficial lacerations to its chest, rump and off side stifle.

The Pantz- Began awkwardly.

Sialia Magic- Rider reported she was obliged to race wide in the early stages and work forward to obtain a position outside the leader near the 1300 metres.

Ferocity Blue- Raced wide the majority of the race.
