After viewing the photo. Ms Johnson was satisfied with the judge’s placing and correct weight declared. JABALI GOLD – Jumped in the air at the start. Raced wide for the majority. ROYO – Raced wide throughout. RUTTO – Slow to begin. Race 2: ULTON QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1000 metres LENNY ROCKET – Raced wide early. SPIRIT OF ZAZOU – Raced wide for the majority. TAKING STEPS – Slow to begin. Raced wide rounding the home turn. Race 3: RAYMENT EXCAVATIONS OPEN PLATE 1072 metres SUCH A WHIT – Raced barefooted in front after casting a front plate on the way to the barriers. A fraction slow to begin. ISIS CARMELLA – Apprentice Brooke Johnson advised that her mount had some difficulty maintaining touch with the leading runners during the early and middle stages. TA CHANSON – Shifted ground outwards under pressure in the home straight. VON SAGA – Began awkwardly. Shifted ground outwards under pressure in the home straight. Race 4: CALLIOPE CENTRAL BOWLS CLUB BENCHMARK 45 Handicap 1072 metres SHE’S WINNING – Made the home turn awkwardly and shifted wider. MISS MIRACULOUS – Slow into stride. ROUND THE FIRE – Made the home turn awkwardly and shifted wider. STILL FEELING IT – Inclined to lay out rounding the turn near the 800m. WREN PLUCKED – Made the home turn awkwardly and shifted wider. Race 5: CALLIOPE RURAL TRADERS GOLD CUP BENCHMARK 55 Handicap 1608 metres NERRINA LOLITA – Fractious in the barriers. Trainer Glenda Bell advised that it was the intention to spell the mare as she was of the view that NERRINA LOLITA had failed to acclimatise and performed well below expectations in recent starts. STAR OF LEON – Began awkwardly and was slow to begin. THORBEN – Raced keenly through the early stages. Raced wide around the final turn.
