Chairman of Stewards – P. Gillard
Stewards – S. Copelin & A. Holzhauser (Cadet Steward)

GENERAL
Stewards questioned trainer S. Massingham regarding TURBEAU (Race 7) being an early scratching from the event with no rider being engaged. Mr Massingham explained that he was not satisfied with the gelding’s progress after fast work during the week and with the heavy weight impost and travel requirement to today’s race meeting, he had elected to scratch TURBEAU from today’s race. Stewards noted his explanation.

All riders submitted a random breath test prior to race 1 and were all cleared to fulfil their engagements.
