Race 1: MORT & CO. QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1000m 
 
CHEERS FOR CHARLIE - Underwent pre-race veterinary examination and passed fit to race. 
 
DELILAH’S DREAM – Reared as gates opened and jumped outwards bumping with another runner.
 
TIME FOR US – Bumped by another runner on jumping.
 
QUEZMAR – Jumped outwards and bumped with another runner. 
 
HINA MATSURI – Shifted out abruptly shortly after the start inconveniencing another runner.  Hung out for the majority.  
 
MISTY MORNING – As no other suitable rider was available Stewards permitted Jockey D. Edmonds to ride the filly one and a half kilograms over the allocated weight.  Became unbalanced when inconvenienced by another runner shortly after the start 
 
WANZANILLA - Raced wide for the majority. 
 
BIDFLARE – Raced wide for the majority.
 
RINCIPLE – Raced wide for the majority.
 
Race 2: TROPIC PETROLEUM BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1000m
 
SNIPPY STRATEGIC – Proved reluctant to load into the barriers.
 
READY ZAIM FIRE - On jumping bumped with another runner.  Jockey D. Ballard reported he had been disappointed for a run rounding the home turn and was unable to retain his position. Tired noticeably over concluding stages.
 
STONE PHILOSPHER (NZ) – Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
MOLONGLE MAGIC – Shifted outwards rounding the home turn.
 
BOINGO - Bumped by another runner on jumping.  Raced wide most of the way.  Jockey B. Richardson was fined the sum of $100.00 under the provisions of AR 132(7)(a)(ii) for excessive use of the whip prior to the 100m. 
 
Race 3: -BRODIE AGENCIES CORFIELD CUP BENCHMARK 69 HANDICAP 1200m  
 
FRIGHTENING DELAGO – Blundered shortly after jumping and then shifted in bumping another runner.  Raced wide in the middle stages.
 
MARTIAL ART – Slowly away. Restrained shortly after the start to avoid heels of another runner.
 
SHOW EM (NZ) – Raced wide for the majority. 
 
 
Race 4 -NORTHERN RURAL GROUP BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1200m 
 
MOLONGLE HERO – Difficult to load. 
 
CRYSTAL BEAR – Knuckled on jumping and bumped another runner. 
 
VELVET BROWN - Bumped by another runner on jumping. Shifted in soon after and raced ungenerously for a short distance. 
 
MAKUBA – Shifted out on jumping bumping with another runner. Raced wide for the majority.
 
PARK HUSSLER - Bumped by another runner on jumping. Raced wide for the majority. 
 
NO HAT NO PLAY – Raced wide for the majority.
 
RATUNGA – Raced wide for the majority.
 
Race 5: COFFISON & SONS BULK FUEL CLASS B HANDICAP 800m 
 
FIG -  Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and passed fit to race. Slowly into stride. Raced very wide rounding the home turn. Trailled the field throughout
 
IMAGINALTHEPEOPLE -  Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and passed fit to race. Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
A’RICHBRUNETTE –  Raced wide for the majority. Jockey R. Hancock pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under the provisions of AR 131(a) in that near the 700m he permitted his mount to shift in when not sufficiently clear of CHAUSIE ridden by K. Ballard which resulted in that runner having to be severely checked losing ground and being taken inwards onto AYLA’S ANGEL ridden by M. Haley which also had  to be checked and lost ground.  Jockey Hancock’s license to ride in races was suspended for a period of eleven (11) days to commence at midnight on 10th August,2019 up to and including 21st August,2019. Stewards deemed the level of interference to be in the mid range and in arriving at penalty took into consideration Jockey Hancock’s good riding record in relation to the rule and also his guilty plea.
 
CHAUSIE – Near the 700m was severely checked losing ground.  Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
AYLA’S ANGEL – Near the 700 metres was checked and lost ground.
