RACE 1: - Palm Cove Maiden Plate Handicap – 950 metres
Delayed 5 mins due to ambulance being late on course. RED DANE was slow to begin, and then leaving 500 metres, had to be steadied off the heels of GREY DYNASTY. STYLE MAN made home turn wide.
RACE 2: - Clifton Beach Class 2 Handicap – 950 metres
UNITE AND PROSPER jumped in at the start. Minor contact with LARNI.
UNITE AND PROSPER inclined to lay in over concluding stages of race.
RACE 3: - Kewarra Beach Class 1 Handicap – 1200 metres
LEAVITA shifted out, and then was inclined to shift in over concluding stages of the race.
RACE 4: - Trinity Beach Class 5 Handicap – 1200 metres
Track down graded to dead.
At the start WONG SIGN jumped out, minor contact with JACKIE’S RESPONSE, at the same time ROAD DANCER jumped in making heavy contact with WATER LEVEL. After leaving the 900 metres, WATER LEVEL shifted out making minor contact with JACKIE’S RESPONSE.
RACE 5: Yorkey’s Knob Class 4 – 1400 metres
Shortly after leaving barriers COOYONG bucked and took no further part in the race. Trainer A Bailey was advised; COOYONG must perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial prior to its next race start. RELATE was slow to begin. RUB THE BUDA shifted in over the concluding stages on to the heels of DUAL DEAL.
RACE 6: Smithfield Heights Open Handicap – 1300 metres
EXPORTING jumped out with minor contact with BLACKLOCK at the start.
MISTER DANZIG was slow to begin and was held up for clear running on the home turn. BULL ALLEN shifted in over concluding stages of the race, minor contact with BLACKLOCK.
All winners sent to be swabbed.
