GENERAL:

Stewards interviewed trainer T.Rowe relative to the reason for him scratching ALL OUT ATTACK from Race 1. Mr Rowe explained that it had been his intention to start the gelding in that event, however after working yesterday the gelding pulled up sore with a possible stone bruise. Mr Rowe was told that he must furnish a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to the gelding being permitted to race again.

Subsequent to the running of Race 1 the track rating was upgraded to a GOOD (4).

Holt), which became awkwardly placed on the heels of SHE'S ALL OURS (App. S. Wiseman). Jockey W. D'Avila was told to exercise more care, stop riding and straighten his mount sooner than he had on this occasion.

App. Wiseman was suspended from riding races for a period covering 2 N.Q. meetings, to commence immediately, and to expire at midnight on Saturday 7th March 2015.

RACE 6: CJC Members BenchMark 60 Handicap - 1500 metres
1st - STANDFORD 2nd - MALIBU ROSE 3rd - PRESS PLAY 4th - DATE WITH FATE

The declaration of correct weight was delayed while stewards considered an objection lodged by Jockey P. Cullen, the rider of MALIBU ROSE which finished 3rd, against PRESS PLAY (W. D'Avila) being declared 2nd, alleging interference in the early part of the home straight. After taking evidence from the parties concerned, viewing official video films and taking into account their own observations it was established that shortly after straightening MALIBU ROSE established a run to the inside of PRESS PLAY, which then shifted in abruptly and hampered MALIBU ROSE. Bearing in mind the margin of a short half head between the runners and the manner in which both horses ran to the finish, stewards upheld the objection and amended the placings as follows: 1st STANDFORD; 2nd MALIBU ROSE; 3rd PRESS PLAY; 4th DATE WITH FATE.

ARMY OF ONE - Raced wide throughout.

SPEED DRAGON - Was slow to begin.

STANDFORD - Hung out rouding the home turn and ran wide on the track. Trainer T. Rowe was told that a warning will be placed on the gelding's racing manners.
