GENERAL
 
As jockey A. Thomson was not riding at today’s meeting riding changes were permitted as per steward’s race day summary. 

Race 1: INNISFAIL STOCKFEED BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP – 950 Metres
 
HARD YAGA – Shifted in near the 200 metres momentarily hampering EVIL EYE MAC. Rider K. Swaffer was advised to exercise more care. Raced three wide without cover for the majority of the race. 
 
FANX – Shifted in shortly after the start when crowded for room by ROUGH CUT JEWEL and bumped COOL ATTITUDE.
 
COOL ATTITUDE – Bumped shortly after the start.
 
EVIL EYE MAC – Momentarilyhampered near the 200 metres by HARD YAGA which shifted in under pressure.  
 
ROUGH CUT JEWEL – Shifted in soon after the start crowding FANX.

MISS ESTER – Fractious in the barriers, reared and lost considerable ground.Trainer N. Nelson was advised she must provide a further barrier certificate prior to the mare being permitted to start again.
 
Race 2: LARSEN NEWS CLASS B HANDICAP – 950 Metres
 
FAST ENUFF – Slow to begin.
 
KID MAC – Slow into stride. Shifted in slightly near the 500 metres momentarily hampering FIRST SLIP.

VIENNA CRUISE – Slow to begin.

FIRST SLIP – Slow into stride.Momentarily hampered near the 500 metres. 
 
IL PRINCIPE – Commenced to hang out soon after the start and continued to do so for some distance shifting wider on the track. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off-front leg. Trainer M. Potiris advised it is the intention that IL PRINCIPE be retired from racing. Nonetheless Ms Potiris was advised a veterinary clearance of soundness must be provided should the gelding return to racing.  
 
KOHEETO –A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have lacerations to both back hind legs. Trainer R. Miller was advised he must provide a veterinary clearance of soundness prior to its next start. 
 
Race 3: ROSCOES PIAZZA RATINGS BAND 0 - 50 HANDICAP – 1250 Metres
 
FEMALE OFFICER – As the mare had not started for a long period of time it was examined by the veterinary surgeon prior to the race and cleared to start. Bumped on jumping. Checked near the 400 metres after improving onto heels of the tiring INDIAN DANCER. Raced wide for the majority of the race.  
 
LET'S CONQUER – Broke through the front of the barriers prior to start, restrained after short distance, underwent a veterinary examination, and was cleared to start. 
 
GAMETIME – Slow to begin.Raced in restricted room for a short distance when attempting a narrow run to the inside of LET’S CONQUER.
 
DUBAI EAGLE – Jumped inwards at the start bumping FEMALE OFFICER.
 
INDIAN DANCER – Raced three wide for the majority of the race. Lost ground near the 400 metres.
 
SHUNTER – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
Race 4: COL'S VINYL & CANVAS QTIS MAIDEN PLATE – 1500 Metres
 
BULLSWOOL – Slow to begin.     
 
OCONEE – Began awkwardly.
 
BOWTIE BETTY – Raced keenly for a short distance approaching the 1000 metres. Crowded for room over the concluding stages by EXCLUSIVE MO which shifted out under pressure.
 
GRANMA – Laid out rounding the home turn shifting wider on the track.
 
HALF EVIL – Forced wider rounding the home turn by GRANMA which laid out.
 
EXCLUSIVE MO – Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.  
 
Race 5:RUSSEL SIGN & PRINT CLASS B HANDICAP – 1500 Metres
 
CONQUERING JUDAS – Slow to begin.
 
ALL TOO NATURAL – Shifted out under pressure near the 200 metres having to be corrected.  
 
MBAPPE – Raced three wide without cover for the majority of the race.
