RACE 1: WARREGO WOOL CLASS 1 PLATE - 1000M
1st – I’m a Sequalo 2nd – Casino Chic 3rd – Dance for Bindy 4th – La Picolina

CASINO CHIC and CANADIAN CRYSTAL were both slow to begin.

TANUKI, which jumped away awkwardly and lost ground, failed to handle the dirt conditions.

NICKELBACK raced wide throughout.

RACE 2: LOLA WEBSTER CLASS 4 H’CAP - 1000M
1st – Regimental Star 2nd – Ottiwell 3rd – Another Princess 4th – Eagle Owl

FELLINO (NZ) and HAPPILY EVERAFTER were both slow to begin.

TAIPAN RULER (NZ) reared as the start was affected and dislodged its rider, after reviewing the video stewards ruled TAIPAN RULER (NZ) to be a definite runner and correct weight was declared.

Near the 900m, REGIMENTAL STAR shifted out forcing EAGLE OWL, PRINCE RHYTHM and AMBON wider on the track.

RACE 3: GALLIPOLI MAIDEN PLATE - 1200M
1st – See You Slater 2nd – Coastal Sand 3rd – That’s History 4th – Split Pin (nz)

RUBELATION and SARA STREET both jumped away awkwardly losing considerable ground.

A post race vet examination of SARA STREET, which tailed off, revealed the horse to be sore in the near fore. Trainer T Webb was advised that a veterinary inspection would be required prior to next start.

RACE 4: CRAIGLEA/RAHEEN/MINLACOWIE/DROUGHTMASTER PALMADAY/MARR’S MATILDA HIGHWAY CLASS 3 PLATE H’CAP 1200M
1st – Yukon Lad 2nd – Gidyea Coals 3rd – Pankki 4th – Rock Your Body

PANKKI and BIGSTAD and were both slow to begin.

PLACID LASS jumped away awkwardly losing ground.

BLUE OSIER was hampered shortly after the start when GIDYEA COALS shifted in.

TRISTRAM’S TRUCE was forced to ease near the 1000m when tightened for room to the inside of ROCK YOUR BODY, which shifted in and away from YUKON LAD, which shifted in.

RACE 5: SANTOS WEIGHT FOR AGE - 1200M
1st – Midnight Silence 2nd – Lester Cove 3rd – Stars Will Dance 4th – Strong Suit

LESTER COVE, which sustained a laceration to the off hind leg in the enclosure, was inspected by the clubs vet and passed fit to start.

NICEOSS and STRONG SUIT were both slow to begin.
