SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT
Race 1: PATRONS BENCHMARK 70 HANDICAP 1000M
TESTIMONIAZA’S (M.Abe) barrier was slow to open.
SUDDENLY SWEET (R. FAEHR) was slowly away.
BOOM BOOM (D. Brown) began awkwardly and lost ground at the start.
GENERAL SORRISO (Apprr. G. Steele) jumped out and bumped MAXIMUM VISION (Hancock) resulting in MAXIMUM VISION cutting across SUDDENLY SWEET.
Stewards spoke with Trainer John Patterson in relation his horse BOOM BOOM being slow to begin and losing ground at the start. Stewards considered comments from Mr Patterson and Jockey D. Brown and subsequently placed a warning on the horse.
Race 2: LOLA WEBSTER MEMORIAL MAIDN PLATE 1200M
OCTELLO (D.BROWN) was slow to begin.
Stewards were notified by Jockey D. Brown that at approximately the 1000m point his mount was apprehensive at the presence of ROUGH AND RECKLESS (Appro. G. Steele) on his outside. Brown commented that in his opinion the gelding did baulk and then raise its head momentarily, this incident resulted in that rider having to check his mount.
Race 3: WARREGO HOTEL MOTEL CLASSB HANDICAP 1200M.
RUSTIK CONNECTIONS was declared a late scratching by Stewards at 2.05pm due to no rider being available.
TIME FOR INDI was presented in the mounting yard with a brow band on instead of the Winkers as stated on the RQ Gear Sheet. Trainer Mr W. Baker advised Stewards that due to work commitments he had not been able to amend his stable return to reflect the horse’s change in gear. Mr Baker was advised to amend his return on Monday 3rd June 2013.
When leaving the mounting yard to go onto the track ZIPOLITE (Apprr. Tilley) came into contact with the gate which resulted in Appr. Tilley being dislodged; the horse then went out onto the track and the gelding ran towards the 1400M chute. The horse was captured by the Clerk of the Course and returned to the enclosure. It was examined by the Veterinarian and passed fit to start.
SYRUS (Ms R. KERWIN) was slow to begin.
TIME FOR INDI (C. Bryen) was slowly away.
TELL ME NO LIES (D. Brown) jumped in.
LORD HELP US (D. Rewald) was tightened for room between TELL ME NO LIES and SHANNONS COMMAND (Apprr. Ms G. Steele) shortly after the start.
KISS AND CONTROL. (R. Faehr) was over racing in the early stages and raced with its head raised in the air momentarily.
SLASHING SHADOW (R. Hancock) travelled wide over the concluding stages.
Race 4: EULO GENERAL STORE OPEN HANDICAP 1200M
BIG BAD JOEL (C. Bryen) was fractious in the barriers.
BIG BAD JOEL on leaving the barriers jumped out and came into contact with the barrier gates.
Race 5: CHARLOTTE PLAINS CLASS 3 PLATE 1400M
Prior to the commencement of Race 5 Jockey Ms R. Kerwin reported to Stewards that she was having difficulty breathing and requested treatment from the Ambulance officer/s. Ms Kerwin was unable to for fill her riding obligation in this event and was replaced with Jockey M. Abe on POKINALONG.
WINDS ME UP (D. Brown) jumped in shortly after the start.
CURRAWEE LASS (S. Morris) jumped out and made contact with DANA DANCER (R. Faehr) shortly after the start.
DE BURGHLER (D. Rewald) jumped in shortly after the start and made contact with MUTINY (Appr. L.Tilley).
CLASSIC COUNTRY (C.Bryen) shifted in soon after the start and made contact with KIRKHEATON (Apprr. Ms G. Steele) as a result of this incident RICHIANO (R.Hancock) was tightened for room.

Summary of action concerning thoroughbred horses
The Trainer of Time for Indi (Race 3) Mr W. Baker sought permission from Stewards to change the horse’s gear and to allow his horse run at this meeting with the Winkers removed and a Brow Band fitted. Stewards granted Mr Baker’s request and advised him to amend his stable return on Monday the 3rd of June 2013 to reflect this change in gear.
