Waltzing My Hilda – Fractious in barriers dislodging its rider. Jockey McGovern was uninjured and fit to fulfil his engagement. Stood flat footed and lost ground. Trainer K. McGovern was advised the horse would require a barrier certificate prior to returning to race.
Blinkin Nomore – Slow to begin.
Platina – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
Race 2 - BUSTER & LORRAINE SCHMIDT MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP – 1200m
Priceless De Hero – Began awkwardly making contact with another runner to the outside.
Gold Crown – Tightened for room at the start and lost ground.
Indelo – Slow to begin.
Canalasso – Raced wide without cover throughout. 
Race 3 - MASCOTT EARTHMOVING CLASS B HANDICAP – 1000m
Dazzling Blaze – Began awkwardly.
Lord Russell – Stood flat footed and lost significant ground. Raced wide without cover throughout the early and middle stages. Trainer W. Pugsley was advised a warning would be placed on the horse. Mr Pugsley was fined $100 under AR.65 for failing to produce the horses Thoroughbred Identification Card.
Nino – Raced wide without cover throughout. Held up for clear running rounding the 500m.
Wild Justice – Raced wide throughout
