As N Morton was ill and not riding at the meeting, rider changes were made as per the Stewards Summary.
 
 
Race 1: MAUCH CEMENTING MAIDEN PLATE 1200 metres
 
BALLYCASTLE- Slow to begin.
 
MISHANI GHOST- Hung out for the majority.
 
Race 2: BROWN & HURLEY CLASS B Handicap 800 metres
 
BARTOS- Tightened for room at the start. Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
COOL CHAOS- Began awkwardly.
 
STRALEX- Raced extremely wide without cover throughout.
 
PLENT OF WHITT- Slow into stride.
 
OXYGEN MAN- Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
MISS MOSS- Laid out rounding the home turn.
 
POLLARD- Jockey H Phillips, expressed disappointment with the performance of the gelding, which in her opinion may not have been suited by racing on the dirt surface for the first occasion.
 
 
Race 3: BUSTER & LORRAINE SCHMIDT MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 1000 metres
 
TOURMASTER- Laid in during the early stages, and then hung out rounding the home turn. Raced 4 wide without cover for the majority.
 
OAKFIELD GETTEM- Raced 5 wide without cover for the majority.
 
AURIC GOLD- Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority.
 
NEW ALLIANCE- Slow to begin.
 
CHIEF HAVOC- Slow to begin.
 
 
Race 4: MARY LANG MEMORIAL OPEN HANDICAP 1400 metres
 
MISHANI BLOSSOM- Began awkwardly losing ground.
 
 
Race 5: ARNOLD SIMPSON LIVESTOCK & HAULAGE RATINGS BAND 0-55 Handicap 1400 metres
 
METRICAL- App. A Bakos expressed disappointment with the performance of the gelding, however advised that in her opinion it failed to run out the 1400m of today event. A post race Veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
 
MAXIMUM HUSTLE- Began awkwardly.
 
PART THE SEA- Began awkwardly.
 
LESLIE JAMES- Slow into stride.
