RACE 1 XXXX MAIDEN PLATE-100M
1ST GRAND VOYAGE ,2ND BOLD'N'RECKLESS , 3RD MINESHAFT 4TH OUR CHARLIE
At the start ,Monte Bomber, Roslyn Drive and Mrs Quinn all began awkwardly.
Fancy Feathers stood as the start was effected ,losing ground. Stewards placed a warning on Fancy Feathers for its barrier manners .
Approaching the 400m ,Mrs Quinn became unbalanced and made heavy contact with the running rail.A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no significany findings .
Rounding the home turn Alpine Annie became unbalanced and rolled in hampering That's Cool ,which was attempting a run to the inside of Alpine Annie .
Over the final stages ,Mineshaft shifted out under pressure ,taking Our Charlie wider on the track
RACE 2 CARMICHAEL BUILDERS CLASS 1 HCP -1000M
1ST FOXIE EM 2ND LADY NONAME 3RD SHA KEEL 4TH CHIEF INSPECTOR
At the start,Thesis jumped in the air and out , taking Perdolani wider on the track
Approaching the 750m Pedrolani shifted in taking Thesis in on to Keeping amused, which had to be steadied . In this incident ,Stewards reprimanded jockey R Kerwin -AR137(a) for allowing her mount to shift ground when insufficiently clear.
RACE 3 KEVE SCHRECK MEMORIAL CLASS B -1400M
1ST FULLY PSYCHED 2ND CONDAMINE LAD 3RD CLARENDON BLUE 4TH BOOFHEAD
Lea's Lad was slow to begin .
Boof head and Major Star were both caught wide in the early and middle stages of the race .
Rounding the home turn ,Nikalaus Chariot was tightened for room and had to be steadied when Clarendon Blue commenced to lay out and The Spaniard ,which became unbalanced rolled in . Stewards advised riders to exercise more care in similar circumstances .
Walt was found to have bled from both nostrils after the race . The horse was sent to be swabbed and connections were notified that Walt would have a ban placed on his racing career for a period of 3 months under AR 53 A as well as all conditional requirements under this rule .
RACE 4 ERGON ENERGY PLOUGH INN CUP QTIS MAIDEN --1400M
1ST ALANOR DEE DEE 2ND ALAVALDI 3RD MOSSMANS MELODY 4TH FLYING RAPID
Alanoe Dee Dee and Pickering both raced wide in the early and middle stages of the race.
Over the final stages of the race ,Alanor Dee Dee shifted ground under pressure ,takingMollys Memory and Alvaldi wider on the track
Stewards reprimanded apprentice G Clegg under AR 137(a) for allowing his mount to shift ground under pressure and not making sufficient effort to stop his mount from shifting ground .
RACE 5 DALBY MACHINERY CENTRE DALBY CUP --1400M
1ST FINLARIG 2ND BANNOCK BAY 3RD RUE THE SAINT 4TH GENERAL SAM
Stewards interviewed App . M Sharp for her failure to claim her full allowance in Race 3 and race 5. App. sharp was fined the sum $100 under AR92(12)
Tudor Quest was slow to begin as was Bannock Bay .
Approaching the home turn , Bannock Bay commenced to lay out and raced wider on the track
RACE 6 RUSSELL TAVERN CLASS 3 PLATE - 1200M
1ST LEICANAVALANCHE 2ND TILKE OF WALES 3RD MAMBO STAR 4TH STRATIFICATION
Leicanavalanche was slow to begin .
Tilke Of Wales jumped out at the start ,hampering Dabblin Lane , which was slow to begin .
Approaching the 600m ,Stratification improved on to the heels of Tilke Of Wales and had to be steadied .
Dabblin Lane commenced to lay in frm the 1000m until the 400m
Over the final stages of the race Tilke Of Wales shifted out making contact with Dabblin Lane .
ALL WINNERSA WERE SENT TO BE SWABBED .
