From BRC Doomben Jump-outs – 25.10.16:

SECRET SAGA bled both nostrils. Trainer T. Gollan was advised that as this was the first occasion on which the mare had bled, it would now incur a 3-month ban from racing and must gallop satisfactorily over 1000m in the presence of a steward.

From BRC Eagle Farm – Saturday 22.10.16 – Race 8:

Stewards today questioned trainer R. Heathcote regarding the riding tactics apprentice B. Grylls adopted on BROTHERLY SECRET, which resulted in the horse settling in a rearward position, which is in contrast to the horse’s usual racing pattern. Mr Heathcote explained that as the horse had drawn a wide barrier he had instructed apprentice Grylls to attempt to settle in a midfield position with cover. Stewards reminded Mr Heathcote to ensure he advises of any change in tactics in the future.
