MISHANI BULLITT Stewards questioned App S. Lacy regarding the tactics she adopted, particularly from the 1200m, when she left a trailing position behind NIVO to improve 3 wide.. App Lacy stated that she was able to settle her mount in a trailing position behind NIVO approaching the first turn however, when the pace steadied MISHANI BULLITT commenced to overrace and became very awkward at the heels of NIVO and this resulted in her having to shift to a 3 wide position. App Lacy added she was prevented from moving back to a trailing position as MAHARNI, when overracing, shifted out and as a result she had to improve around the field to eventually clear STELLAS DREAM passing the 600m. Trainer C. App Murphys licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of ten (10) days to commence midnight 23 October 2017 and expire midnight 2 November 2017. In assessing penalty stewards took into account App Murphys good racing record.
