Leitch advised stewards that it would now be her intention to have the horse undergo a dynamic endoscopy exam, the results of which will be forwarded to stewards prior to the horse racing again.

SUGAR BUZZ – Had to be steadied passing the 650m to avoid the heels of SET THE BAR HIGH.
LASHONI – When asked to comment, B. Stewart advised that it was his intention to ride the horse in a similar manner to that at recent starts and save it for a late short sprint, however, when SET THE BAR HIGH broke down passing the 700m and he elected to shift out to avoid interference, his mount was left racing without cover earlier than he would have liked. He added that the mare loomed up rounding the home turn, however, over the concluding stages proved disappointing. He further stated that having the mare exposed much more earlier than he would have liked may have had a bearing on its finishing effort. Connections advised that consideration would be given to sending the mare for a spell.
LEGAL COUNSEL – Raced in restricted room approaching the 1100m between ULTIMATE RING and LASHONI, which had improved into a narrow run to the inside, and shortly thereafter was restrained to obtain a position closer to the rail with cover. Held up rounding the home turn.
SET THE BAR HIGH – Faltered passing the 700m and was eased wider on the course by its rider before being retired from the event. Duncan was advised that the gelding will require a veterinary clearance prior to racing again.
SHE ZA BOSS – Raced three wide without cover throughout. Forced wider on the course passing the 650m by SET THE BAR HIGH, which was being retired from the event.
ULTIMATE RING – Had to be checked passing the 650m to avoid the heels of SET THE BAR HIGH and was further hampered by LASHONI, which shifted out to improve. B. Stewart, the rider of LASHONI, was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) in that at that point he directed his mount out, resulting in ULTIMATE RING becoming awkwardly placed at the heels of SET THE BAR HIGH, having to be checked and losing ground. In determining penalty, stewards considered the submissions made by jockey Stewart and the contributions to the incident by SUGAR BUZZ, which was in front of LASHONI and may have shifted out slightly and lost ground, and SET THE BAR HIGH, which had broken down and was being eased out of the race. As stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that jockey Stewart’s actions were solely responsible for the interference to ULTIMATE RING, they determined that in the circumstances the appropriate penalty be a reprimand.
YU LONG SHENG HUI – Held up rounding the home turn.
Race 8: XXXX DRY BENCHMARK 75 H'CAP – 1650M
GLEN ORD – Forced wider on the course after passing the 500m by PRESSWAY, which shifted out to improve.
KING TOMLOLA – After being caught wide in the early stages was allowed to stride forward to a position outside the leader near the 1100m. When asked to comment on the performance, A. Mallyon stated that the gelding raced in a forward position and when the field sprinted after passing the 600m failed to respond. He added that in his opinion the gelding will improve with the run and may appreciate races further than that of today’s event as he believes the gelding is one-paced.
BRYNEICH – Raced three wide with cover in the early stages before racing three wide without cover after passing the 700m.
TUNERO – Raced three wide with cover throughout.
TRAVISTEE – Forced wider on the course after passing the 500m by PRESSWAY, which shifted out to improve.
