Dunn trainer of third place getter IMPENDOR lodged a protest alleging interference over the final 200m against second place getter, LENNIC. Stewards were satisfied that had LENNIC not forced a run where there was insufficient room and caused the interference suffered by IMPENDOR, that IMPENDOR would have finished in front of LENNIC, given the nose margin and therefore upheld the objection and gave correct weight on the amended finishing order.
